I experienced also something strange yesterday. I always stop the DC charging with the green button next to the plug. For some reason, it would not work: 1st time this happens.
no car allowed in the resort , so safely parked 20km away.
more than 120 EV chargers (22kW) in the parking, all with cables. First time I've seen that on AC chargers
you should set the DC charger destination, then select "find a charger nearby", it'll give you a list and from that list select the charger. and confirm you want to add it to your trip.
your final destination should also be known by the Nav.
i would rather say that the temperature management is different, but not by much.
Below a comparison between 2 trips, one under Sport+ , one with Range mode. 2 hrs drive on highway, at a constant speed around 70/75 mph, with a quite similar outside temperature (3 ° / 5°), and no Navigation in...
cold and snowy morning here too.
car drives fine, but I get these annoying collision warnings (I guess there was snow or ice on the sensors).
And that ?... I thought it was only a Tesla issue ?
i once drove on a kind of gravel road for a few kms, with big rocks , and swear i will never do it again.
Not that the car couldn’t make it, but i thought i’d have a puncture every meter, or brake something . I wouldn’t do it either with a modern SUV …
in my experience.... no.
I attach below a screenshot of a long highway trip. Porsche app reports 28.5 / 33.2 / 26.7 kWh / 100km for 3 legs of the trip, while Car scanner gave me 31.8 / 37.6 / 29.6 . So about 3kWh more than Porsche. Heater wasn't working much, battery was already at more than...
do you have some kind of detailed data ?
I guess you charged once, the app should be able to give you the consumption on the 1st part, and on the 2nd part of the trip. You went up (more than 1000m ?) and that costs a lot. you'll see the difference when found down.
But that won't explain why...
I see only one reasonable explanation: lot of drifting around rd pt des Champs Elysees.
Front tires take all the weight while rear brake pads control the trajectory...
same car, 2yrs (and a half) service after 77k km scheduled for this wednesday. I'll let you know.
I moved from 20" to 21" after 55k km with the original Michelin: I could have keep them a bit more.
and on the road. Fully agree.
Sure, a better range is always good, but it won't change much if the 20% (for example) more range does not give you the possibility to reach the next charging station.
i've done 900 mi (in one day) in less than 13 hrs, including charging stops. Good network and...
