The bottom line is actually that the Macan EV is 15-20% more expensive than its ICE sibling.
EVs are almost always more powerful and faster than ICEV competitors.
Many buyers wouldn’t consider ANY 2WD CUV (especially a RWD version) so that disqualifies the base Macan EV for them.
Twist it any way you want - the Macan EV is much more expensive than the ICE version, and IMHO that is...

It's maybe worth highlighting that your Tesla experience was with a pre-refresh (now obsolete) model. The refreshed Model S addresses many of the issues you mentioned... The new S has door pockets with bottle holders, a good-sized center console, 2 large conveniently-positioned wireless phone...

The problem with adding any cable is heat.
It would have to be REALLY thick cable to support DCFC rates, which doesn't seem practical without some sort of cooling...

As of April 1, Hyundai/Kia/Genesis are officially supported at V3/V4 Superchargers (250KW+) and we charged our GV60 at one last weekend without any problems.
Max charging speed is only 97KW, but that level is maintained all the way to 85+% SOC.
