    Tesla Cybertruck’s 911 Gimmick

For it to be “humor”, it would need to be funny… Why are you quoting Model S stuff in relation to the Cybertruck? Cammisa’s review mentioned that it ran 11.3 @ 30% SOC, making the near-7,000 lb. truck quicker than every Taycan other than the Turbo S at that SOC. Now THAT’S funny!

Edmunds Test: How fast does each EV charge? - Article

Edmunds' results are among the most useful I've seen. "Average time needed to add 100 miles of range" is very enlightening, and possibly surprising for those who don't understand the entire picture of DCFC-ing

    Michelin PS4S - Another take

They're at about 6.5/32nds/5.5mm of tread after 12K miles/19K KM.

    Michelin PS4S - Another take

I’ve only put about 12K miles on the Pirellis so far. They look fine, but it’s tough to predict when they’ll need replacing.

    Michelin PS4S - Another take

I’m not Derek, but here’s my answer to this question, posted earlier in this thread: “The Pirellis are very slightly quieter than PS4S, but the Michelins are very quiet already. The tradeoff, IMO is that the Pirellis aren’t as responsive and don’t have quite the lateral grip of the Michelins...

    Michelin PS4S - Another take

Mine have worn well for UHP Summer tires. 25K miles or a bit more.

US Justice department to investigate Tesla range claims.

Thanks. The larger point that was being made is that these are at least resources that can be used to compare charging speeds and range. The more commonly cited "10-80%" metric lacks any context for what that means as far as actual range gained, and so is largely useless. I'd never use these...

LOL - okay, you let us know which OTHER semi-comprehensive resource you'd suggest we use to compare charging speeds... I'm sure we're all ears (and eyes)

This is a great resource, and it's about time someone put this together - thank for posting!

    Michelin PS4S - Another take

The Pirellis are very slightly quieter than PS4S, but the Michelins are very quiet already. The tradeoff, IMO is that the Pirellis aren’t as responsive and don’t have quite the lateral grip of the Michelins. I miss the performance of the Michelins I had on my previous car. When my OEM...

So 2 months ago you write a LONG post (https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/perspective-a-happy-taycan-owner-road-trip%E2%80%99s-his-daughter%E2%80%99s-model-y%E2%80%A6.16745/ ) …about your experience road-tripping a Model Y, stating multiple times that the Supercharging network is by...

Tesla to open ~20% of U.S. Superchargers to all EV by end of 2024

Glass half empty vs. glass half full. Additional DCFC options are a good thing, full stop. There are now Magic Dock-equipped Superchargers in at least 16 states plus Ontario. In no reality is that anything but a good thing.
