Meanwhile, the legacy automotive media has been virtually owned by the legacy manufacturers for years. Just look at their coverage of Porsche - a new review/test every week…
Pot, meet kettle.
So your tenet is that Jason Cammisa doesn’t understand automobiles?? 🙄
The topics of the thread are the Model S’ impact on the automotive landscape and Tesla’s continual development of the car over its extended run.
Those topics are undeniable, regardless of any flaccid attempt to distract...
“It’s sad when someone simply spouts anti-Tesla talking points with no real understanding of the situation….”
To wit:
Tell us you didn’t watch the clip without telling us you didn’t watch the clip…
It’s sad when someone simply spouts anti-Tesla talking points with no real understanding of the situation.
Cammisa’s comments about the Model S are spot on and factually correct, regardless of what the Intarwebs’ peanut gallery may think/post. That’s why he prefaced the entire video with a...
Not sure whether you're being intentionally obtuse or just being pedantic, but either way, I'm not going down that path...
Regardless of what it's called, I like the looks of this version of the Cayenne EV better than the other version.
I like the looks better than the SUV version, which is a rare thing these days (looking at you MB and BMW).
Couldn’t help but chuckle at this: …
“…Depending on model, the Lighweight Package reduces weight up to 38.8 lbs…” (emphasis added)
🤣🤣🤣
Interesting.
The drivetrain in my M3P in Track Mode never actually overheated and the brakes were mostly fine.
The biggest limiting factor for me was the tires overheating and getting greasy.
It was still fun and much faster (for 7-8 2.1-mile laps) than most everything on the track with me at...
16 chargers, #1C out of commission (as shown in the app), so maybe that’s the one you tried to connect to?
In any case, with the difficulty you’ve been having connecting to what is by far the most reliable/accessible DCFC network in the US, you’re probably right not to count on using...
As I imagined… 🙄
With no disrespect intended to your bros-in-law, it seems to me that you’d need to be relatively unaware to choose a Q4 eTron, even used…
What’s the context behind him not acknowledging the NEVI station situation?
(I mean, I can imagine what it might be, but hope that’s not the reason…)
Also, being impressed with 125KW charging speed in 2026 is just sad. 😞
These are the key sentences - the Tesla app is the method most likely to consistently work to identify appropriate chargers and to initiate the charge.
As has been mentioned previously in this thread, using anything other than the Tesla app to determine which Superchargers will work with your non-Tesla is a recipe for disappointment.
Car looks great!
Joshua Tree is a very cool spot.
Bummer about that EA station. We’ve never actually tried that one - the only “local” one we’ve used is in Indio north of I-10. No issues there the few times we used it…but OTOH there’s not much in the way of good eats out there either…
