I don’t know, I’m still seeing a spoiler slightly similar to the Panamera. However, it’s hard to say because I don’t know if the spoiler on the mule is fully raised:-)
Be careful on the forum saying “production” version because this is the same car that’s also known as the “prototype” on this forum. No pun intended, just trying to bring some humor to this thread:-)
Please keep posting pics:-) I just think that some of us are just ready to see the final car, and we’re looking for anything to convince ourselves it close to the Mission E. I agree with another poster that the recent pics are not much different than we’ve been seeing. For example, see the...
I agree with you here. From what I could tell (mechanically), is that the spoiler rises with 2 posts and stays horizontally flat when risen similar to the concept on the Carrera GT. For the Taycan, it doesn't appear that it's mechanically the same.
Without, I think it would have more of the concept look from the roof to the rear. However, I'll be a little more realistic that I can't imagine a 4 door coupe with only a frunk in the US:-)
Which is consistent with the 991.2 4S that I used to have (see pic). There are small breaks on each side of the full light bar, but at night you can't even tell:-)
PAG_J1,
My apologies if this was already asked, but there is still some hope for the Mission E rear spoiler from some of us. Can you confirm that the rear spoiler will be what is shown now on the prototypes and not similar to the pic attached.
It could be our eyes playing tricks on us with the angle of the photo, but I see the same car, including side skirts that was shown at Formula E. I acknowledge my perception may be different.....
I had to look at the Mission E rear spoiler again and I must admit that I do like the look of it better than what we currently see on the prototypes:-)
Agree. I would also add some comments from Blume that may have sparked people’s excitement enough that the production car would be close to the concept. Also, it was only recently that Porsche began marketing the prototypes in public (via the 3 public events) as opposed to sending the Mission E...
I've been following as well and at least in my book, this is an accurate assumption. The prototype bodies you see now have been around for some time. I know of at least two: one with fake exhaust tips that is still seen in other countries as of 2 days ago and one without. It's just that Porsche...
The more I look at the still shot in the video at the end, the more I am convinced that this car has more cladding than we realize. Especially, when you look more and more at the taped areas, the misalignment of some of the panels and the large gap between the windshield and hood. I'm starting...
