Thanks for posting. In this picture, you can more clearly see that the black camo is covering a gray car, as I pointed out in another thread on other parts of the car.
Agree that there is quite a bit of camo still on the car. I believe there is a lot more to see once that goes. Even in the Shanghai video, you can see how the black is taped on the lower front spoiler lip and the black camo covering part of the mirrors.
Hi Ron,
I'm there with you with the enthusiasm:-) However, I highly doubt that what we'll see is the sketch in production, that is even more exaggerated in design than the actual Mission-E. Based on previous model releases, including the new 992, i believe that what we see now is the car...
I wonder if it's fair to assume that since Porsche is sending the Prototypes that were seeing on the street to the 3 PECs per their newsroom release, that what we will end up is that car with all of the camo removed, consistent with how the latest new models (e.g., 992, 3rd Gen Panamera) have...
Is it me or is a similar, silver color to the headlight teaser hiding under the camo in this spy shot? Also, from what I can tell, there is not an additional glass/plastic covering around the lights and attached to the body. That’s clearly decals to trick the eye.
This is not a real-world video....
1. If you look at the reverse camera, the 2 cars on the display are clearly CG as they are the exact same car, but different colors.
2. The parking environment is all too wrong to be real. In the reverse camera shot the car reverses in a very short distance...
I guess I just don't understand why there is such uncertainty about what the car will look like. For those of us who also own 991.2s just went through these discussions prior to seeing the 992. Everyone on the 992 forums argued back and forth with whether or not the mules being seen for the...
Thanks for your response. I just wanted to comment regarding the generalized statements made, not to hurl insults. However, back to topic, I think we can all agree that we're anxiously awaiting the Taycan and hopefully it will suit our needs. By the way,I it's been a while since I've been...
+1. I was a bit surprised about the post that Porsches that are not red, black or white are bought by athletes and entertainers in Atlanta. I live in Johns Creek (a northern suburb of Atlanta) and I can tell you that is quite an overgeneralization. I'm frequently around the exotic car/Porsche...
