You wanted some feedback so I feel obliged...of course I love the exterior color. Maybe consider the all black 21's? Other "maybe not worth it's" for me: carbon on mirror, why no logo?, ceramic brakes, passenger display, power port cover...BUT seriously, it's a pretty build. Enjoy it!
Hah. I do like driving it and have done a bunch of 80 mile r/t freeway sessions in a very spirited way...but still seems off to me...was wondering if it has anything to do with my charging patterns which include always topping back up to 85/90%...never really running it down below 40%...
Hey all. About 3 months / 2000 miles into my 4s ownership and overall thrilled. Question for the chat: I’m getting an avg of 2.5 miles / kWh - is that most folks experience? I drive fast whenever on the highway (80-ish) and have done a bit of Launch Control - but this seems like poor consumption...
Very nice kit indeed sir. I agree with everything. Will also add in a few of my faves:
-All black window trim - A MUST!
-21" Mission E's all black
-SportDesign (gives a more aggressive look IMHO)
Sorry gents...wouldn't change a thing. Other than get better range...but that's more my driving style and temperature...my car stops people (and me) in my tracks wherever it goes.
IMHO: If you're NOT going for max range / economics and you DON'T want your Taycan to look like a Ford Taurus...
Want to avoid being defensive but...I drove both the Turbo and a 4S with all the goodies. Unperceivable difference in acceleration except with a stop watch during Launch Control. Kept $30K ($145 vs $175K) in my pocket. Don't need the bragging rights. Still smoke almost everything off the line...
I can't get over 240 per 100% "tank"...but I don't drive at 50-70...I assume if you set the cruise control at 55 in normal mode over flat terrain you'll see these numbers...if you "drive" at all, you'll get 220-240 from a 100% start and then make sure there's a 150kWh charger at the other end!
And as discussed a million times elsewhere, is the only way to really plug and run without charging going to 100% every time is 1) set profile to 25% min and preferred charge times (say 12am-7am) and 2) set timer to target charge of 85% and departure timer of 7am? Plug in whenever you want and...
