Had another 11 updates OTA today.

to the best of my knowledge you can only see when they are applied. There is a notification icon about the update and when you click it you can see more details about the update.

    Polestar 2

How was the ownership (not driving experience)? Any software or reliability issues? Did OTA updates deliver important fixes? If you had to take the car for service did they provide a loaner?

    Polestar 2

At $70k I would prefer to wait for the BMW i4 M50 which will have better performance and better brand appeal. You can also find a few Ford Mach-e GTs at around 70k (61-65kMSRP + markup). I recently looked for a second car and Mach-e is marked up, Toyota Rav4 Prime, Audi Q5e and BMW X3 plug-in...

Taycan GTS to be announced this year?

Sport sound is part of the Performance Package at least in the US. Yes the alcantara GTS interior is very likely.

    Battery Temp

I can easily get 100Kw charge rate with SoC ~50% and battery temperature ~30 C. I am not sure why you were only getting 40KW. Btw 51 C is pretty close to turtle mode. I have never seen my battery so hot.

PCNA baffled over phantom "Collision Warning" and "Driver Attention Required" Messages

    Turtle Mode??

Change the right gauge to display battery temperature. Your battery might be overheated which results in turtle mode. If it overheats, it can be an indication of a problem with the cooling system. Btw did you DC-fast charge before this happened or did you have the car parked under hot sun for a...

Software update hasn’t fixed 12v battery issue (update) confirmed as main battery fault)

This feels like when the alternator of an ICE car is broken. Over time its 12v battery is not charged and eventually it dies. There are also cases where the ICE's 12v battery itself is bad (typically every 3-5 years). An EV does not have an alternator, but it has a DC converter to supply power...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

If you have the air suspension you can set the chassis to sport plus by pushing the suspension button on the instrument cluster. Besides the chasis the sport chrono package also gives you a sport plus drive mode which is supposed to improve the thermal management of the battery but as others...

Any RWD owners regret not going to 4S?

I agree with buying a 4S but as a 4S owner I would like to comment on a couple of things. On daily driving, the car feels marginally faster on Sport mode vs Normal. The different is probably the transmission being on 1st gear instead of 2nd. I honestly don't think it makes that much difference...

19.2kW charger fix for EA charging and Plug & Charge

After years of servicing Porsches, I have learnt that the dealer usually does not finish even the simplest tasks within the same day, so I never drop off my cars on Thursday or Friday so to make sure I can have my car over the weekend. This was the case even for Macan's minor service (just oil...

    Update/Recall duration

It depends on what is described as "Scope" in the corresponding TSB. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10199827-0001.pdf If your car is already on the WMA5/6 version then the actual update work is about 1 hour. If the car does not already have WMA5/6 then the work is at least 2 days and...
