This sounds exactly like the power loss software fix. There was a period of a couple of months that Porsche had the fix without a campaign number and it would apply it only to cars that had experienced the issue. If you asked your SA if there is any pending software update, they would see...
On paper it sounds better but we don't know if the materials and design of the Lucid motor will stand the test of time i.e. what would be it reliability and life expectancy.
Ford Mach-e GT and BMW i4 M50i (despite the ugly face) are on my list for when I replace they Taycan . Neither has the brand appeal of a Porsch but they offer about the same performance and range as my Taycan 4S for 60% of the price.
Ford seems to be resolving the early issues with their first...
Besides the difference in rolling resistance, I think range will drop because the size you are looking at is wider (by 20mm each) than the 20 inch OEM. Btw are you sure these are 20 inch and not 21?
Keep in mind that when you try to sell the car the Lemon will still show up in its title and thus you will be lowballed. So whatever money you save now (discount) be prepared to also lose when you sell it.
I don't think it even makes financial sense if you think of the long run.
Having said...
Clipper and Juicebox come with pigtails which you connect with your line inside an electrical box. Only Chargepoint comes without a pigtail and instead you attach your line wires directly on the charger.
It looks like this PMCC follows the Chargepoint approach.
I remember at least 2 more CT owners reporting the same issue. Search the forum and you will find the threads.
One said they disable interior monitoring (there is a popup when you shutdown the car) every time.
There is also a setting in the menu to disable interior monitor but it does not seem...
Yes I also drove by Crystal Springs mall a few weeks ago and they were ready to pour the concrete pad for the transformers. There is no way it will be ready by Sep 18th.
The Belmont location always has 1/3 stations out of service and the other two are frequently taken by ID4s and Leafs and once...
There is a cover for the bottom of this area. But it is not very rigid so I can see how a big rock at highway speeds could penetrate it.
You are lucky it did not hit the battery.
Swipe the device entry to the left (or maybe right) and it will show a red delete button.
This is also how you delete garage doors from the door opener menu (it took me 5 minutes to figure it out..) and in general entries from a list view.
I had an EA charging session today and it was capped at 75kw the whole time. It looks like EA is setting a rate limit for the free sessions. The battery was relatively warm and the SoC low and I usually get 100-130kw with these conditions.
So overall we, Taycan owners who already have free...
Unfortunately the dealers do not know how to handle issues in this car either because it is a software bug that needs a patch from Germany or because the diagnostic/debugging tools/error logs for the car are inadequate.
"resetting & cannot reproduce" is becoming a too frequent resolution...
I keep seeing 130kw as the max speed in so many different posts in this thread and all from US owners. I also have not seen any thing more than 130kw either. This is probably not random.
I hope EA is not capping our free session...
I am not sure why people believe that the recall update fixes the electrical fault problems. The recall is not related at all.
If you read the recall details it addresses the Motor Control error and Engine Computer error which result in a power loss while driving because of a bug that makes the...
