Good stuff. Asking the electrician to flip the outlet so the negative ground pin faces UP! Also asking about the possibility of a junction box to shift it 2-3 feet closer to the garage door.
Thank you both for the additional feedback. And looking at the screenshots of the manual it seems we have confirmed that the overall length of the standard charger will be just under 17 feet. Agree 100% that orientation can impact the overall run length. It looks like they have the ground pin on...
Thanks for the tips on the extension cables. But, having just spent $2,000.00 on professional electrician services, I really don’t want to rig this up, and extension cables give me worries about fire. I was hoping to confirm the overall length of the standard PMC+ Charger with hopes it might...
Been searching here on the forum and looking online but have not be able to get an exact overall length for the standard and included US charger which comes with the Taycan.
I am installing a JuiceBox 40 at my primary residence but am trying to gauge the distance from my newly installed 14-50...
OK, finally some good news! My dealer has applied the ANA6 PCM update to my new 2022 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, which has been sitting at the dealership for over a month due to the stop sale. Now, time to complete the paperwork and deliver the car to me in NJ from Florida. Fingers crossed this...
Spoke with my dealer today. Seems like 7/22 will be the day for updating my on the ground 2022 Taycan 4S CT. Paperwork and trades to follow but it seems like we’re moving forward now.
So is this telling us that Porsche will release and start applying the updates this Friday on 7/22/2022? It’s been a month that this stop sale has frozen delivery of my Taycan.
This should make the already extended wait more interesting.

Lots of mixed messages here. Just spoke with my SA and he claims they have an update and have been instructed by Porsche to apply and Patch 2021 Taycans first and then move up to the new 2022’s which are in stock and on hold. They feel we should be ready to update the latest cars by 7/22.
A slot is a slot, is a slot. What you want from your dealer s a commission number and a V200 status from the Porsche Sales & Vehicle Management System. This is the positive indicator that you actually will be getting a car. Build slots are just that, slots, and dealers tend to toss these...
I was going to ask the same question. So this update will address the ANA6 PCM recall? Asking as several of us are waiting for this update in order to take delivery of our new cars.
Pop your VIN number in here and see if the PCM recall is listed. Shows for my 2022 which is on the ground at the dealership.
