I like the spec and the smaller battery, if not an issue for you as a "daily driver", would not worry me so much now that I have had my car for a few months. Some have indicated that the smaller battery car has some advantages in terms of handling with the lighter weight. Range limitation is...
I was think about taking my car on a long, multi-day drive in the country. As the 4S was only a few weeks old and charging very limited at the sites we were visiting, I ended up taking my wife's XC70. Glad I did as roads were terrible and picked up two chips with stars on the windscreen. Was...
Personally I think black leather and satin black Mission E's, but for me the yellow brake calipers would need to go - either black if black leather/Mission E or white if chalk/carbon wheels.
What a beauty! Did you consider the black aluminium treadplates? I think these would really go with your scheme. I had the illuminated one fitted after delivery and it made a big difference.
I personally do not perceive any cosmetic issues with the HUD. My care has it and I personally use it all the time. I could live without (deal on a care in the showroom), but would include if I was ordering a car to my own specification. Many seem to not find it that useful, so might be worth...
Also, have you seen the black rear light? It is also very dark - quite hard to see the Porsche lettering? Again, once I saw it for real decided this was not an option for me.
Yes, CT has PB+ as standard. Great spec. You are so lucky with the packages in the US. I have Crayon interior with leather interior had so far keeping clean has been no problem.
I wonder about your colour and the red brake calipers - maybe black would look better?
Nice spec. Hopefully you have seen the volcano grey and red leather in real life? I was convinced I would want the grey but when I saw it I felt far too dark (really almost a charcoal grey). I did test drive a silver with the red leather interior which certainly suits your location but was a...
Just checked my front - no gloss black! I see what others mean - would have been nicer to have had this and odd that Porsche did not include it as part of the package on the 4S as it is a very expensive option. I have seen the CF on a turbo in Ice Grey and that did look nice, especially at the back.
I have the sport design package, gloss black on a 4S. I have to say I thought the gloss black was a nice addition which enhanced the looks. I have not noticed any swirls or marks, but I will now check closely! The front side vents are matt black, not gloss - personally I was not that fussed...
I have PD and have never used it. I think if you planned long trips with a co-pilot might be useful? My wife would not use however it as she says it made her car sick!
Night vision I do not have. I think if you drive at night on country roads might be helpful. I have not seen a car with this...
Australian market is very different - prices much higher, stock really tight and long lead times - but I would have no hesitation if you like the colour and specification, especially as 'new' builds being delivered have some options either not installed or deleted. If there are any after market...
Maybe I am wrong about the wheels - they do look quite good with the black spokes!
The Porsche Design clock is interesting - I was really keen but have never seen one and it is a A$5000 option with the Sport Chrono - so about 2500 GBP!
I would stick with the turbo on the headrest as others...
