Turbo here - won't see obvious decline in full power until really high battery temp (> 120 deg F) or < 15% SOC. Even at 5% SOC it's plenty fast, just not as fast. You WILL have less max power for launch control though below 50%, but again it might be going from insane to ridiculous.
One note on...
Somewhere on this forum someone posted the supported media formats and bit rates. It's possible your lossless format is indeed more than what the PCM can take, or it's possible it's more than can be jammed reliably over WiFi inside the car (even short range). If it's the latter problem, the...
12V disconnect is like Ctrl-Alt-Delete on Windows. It doesn't "fix" anything but it does give everything a fresh start. In particular, when I had an issue where I could not sign into my account, factory reset was suggested by PCNA as a troubleshooting step. However, the reset could not be...
Yeah I switched to this config for a while (next track and sport sound for assignable buttons), but found the inconvenience of extra pushes when backing out of the garage was more annoying than not having next track or sport sound at my fingertips so I switched back. And if you back into your...
I agree it's a matter of courtesy (use the fastest charger your car supports, but not a higher one). But what happens if a Leaf driver shows up and all stalls except 350 kW are taken? More charging stations is the answer, but of course that costs the most...
Apologies if it's already been suggested/tried, but have you tried logging into the web interface as the tech user (separate password printed on the piece of paper in the envelope that came with the PMCC)? From there you may be able to delete the home user or reset the password (I haven't...
Unless your phone is flying around loose in the cabin there is no reasonable explanation for this. An unreasonable explanation is that the PCM's WiFi antenna connection is loose. Yes plugging into one of the console USB-C ports works great.
FWIW, if you have two different transmitters at a stored Homelink location, you can't do what I'm about to suggest - best you can do is pull up the menu.
With one transmitter, you can assign one of the shortcut buttons and instead of opening the menu it will send the signal. The problem with...
What has convinced you your brakes need bleeding frequently? The feel is a bit weird at first (I have 21" with PSCB), but never spongy at the end under hard braking (on a track even). Bonus with the PSCB is speed bleeders on the calipers, though maybe that's also the case with the base brake...
Pressing and holding the key fob trunk button should close it, but you have to keep it pressed the entire time (same as from inside the car using the central control panel button).
There is a brake pedal calibration step. If you do a 12V disconnect, you will see a message asking you to complete this step, and there is some limited information about it in the Good To Know app. I wonder if there was a problem with your calibration and the factory reset fixed that...?
IF that factory reset step fails, you may need to do a 12V disconnect. Both procedures should be done where you have a good cellular signal to the car.
If the 12V battery (system) voltage were to drop below 13.0V while driving the car, that would indicate a big problem. Not because things need > 12V, but because it would imply there is a problem with the DC-DC converter that charges the 12V battery and powers 12V electronics from the HV...
I think it's more apt that each dealer should have a computer science major for this car...
Dealerships are independent businesses from PCNA, so the quality and experience will vary. Each dealer should have a Taycan expert who has been through at least some training on the Taycan but again, the...
