Don't hold your breath. Unfortunately, in many parts of the US blue lights are restricted - typically only for emergency vehicles, most commonly police. It would even be nice if the US cars had full functionality for the led matrix headlights.

I’ve noticed lately that people are posting fewer police sightings on waze. Twice this week my detector picked up strong Ka alerts from police radar that did not alert at all on waze. I am running JBV1 with my V1Gen2 and using Highway Patrol to see if it is better than waze for police alerts.

I did not order the electric sound. I can confirm that people outside the car have told me that the car makes the space ship sound. One person told me he heard it down the block before the car was in sight.

The Taycan has limited visibility through the rear window. Even though the cameras are not the best, they are better than relying on the parking sensors. You will regret not spending the money on the camera the first time you try to back out or touch a wall with the bumper.
