Someday when we arrive in paradise, God will inquire as to why we ignored his many clear signs that we were not meant to live where outergarments are necessary. Slow Taycan charging is one of those signs.
This is an important reason that Taycan sellers should convey the EVSE with the car (in addition to the EVSE being listed on the Taycan's standard features list/Monroney label)! My 2020 EVSE is now on its third recall, all associated with the Taycan. One was just software update and warning...
@prj has written extensively about how the HV battery charges the 12V battery. Take a look at some of his posts:

XCare extends HV battery coverage beyond the 100,000 miles covered by the original warranty, but not beyond the eight years covered by the original warranty:
EV Battery Breakdown – Means the Breakdown of the EV Battery Pack or individual EV Battery cell(s) causing degradation to its ability to...
Another thread on this topic seems to have ended without anyone finding a good solution other than buying the modified tail light controller from Chinese sources. Still, you may find this thread interesting:

I got the XCare additional 7 year/100,000 mile (beyond current age and mileage) service agreement with $500 deductible for $7,345 last year. I have no claims experience to share. Why do you prefer the small deductible? My thought process with the $500 deductible is that any claims will be rare...
Not sure what you mean by NVA "is just the visualizer component to the standard Warn and Brake Assist". You participated in this thread where someone needed to replace the Germanium window over the optional night vision assist infrared camera, which is not included with warn and brake assist...
Actually, Porsche is replacing the vehicle-side cable under recall. Unfortunately the replacement cables aren’t currently available, according to my dealership.

Seriously, they should pay you $2,999 to deal with the effects of those "accessories".
Starguard is installed in a hidden location and wired into the the car. In other words, panels are removed and the wiring harness and OBD2 port are tapped into, all to install a completely redundant tracking...
Specs for that price are great. But the fine print exposes dealer sleeze:
"Price does not include dealer pre-installed accessories: Starguard: $1395, Appearance Protect: $995, ClearShield: $395, Ally Theft Protect: $799."
Wow, once you read up on those "accessories", you'll feel dirty inside...
I don't understand your reticence. It's not that hard to get a wrap removed by a good shop, and Carmine red is a great color that has been protected under the film.
This TSB has a lot of detail about retrofitting the sport sound hardware. It's quite an effort.

DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!?!? HOW WILL THE PIT CREW QUICKLY FIND THE VALVE STEM IF YOUR WHEEL'S PORSCHE CREST IS NOT ALWAYS POINTING AT IT?!?!? :CWL:
