I tried searching on Porsche service bulletins ANA41 and ANA52 but got zero results other than Japanese airline flights (airline code ANA). My hat is off to @Tooney, whose search superpowers vastly exceed mine. Anyway, as I recall, that bolt is for the seat rails, and Porsche considers it single...
Ahhh, makes sense now:
The vehicles affected by this campaign were built or repaired using a high-voltage battery that was manufactured after the date of use ("clean date") of the optimized high-voltage batteries. Therefore, these vehicles are not covered by the recall campaigns ARB6 or ARB7.
I bought the maximum term XCare warranty because I plan to keep my Taycan past 8 years when the HV battery warranty expires in the US. Porsche replaced my 2020 HV battery in 2023, so I don’t anticipate making a claim, but with the HV battery replacement cost exceeding the depreciated value of my...
Neither, as far as I can tell from the vehicle history (provided by @ct14garage) and the notices from Porsche North America. My HV battery failed and was replaced (entire assembly) in December 2023.
Cue @f1eng to explain how the vents contribute to the air curtain around the front wheels to reduce aerodynamic drag. Or maybe to tell me I’m wrong. Either way, he’ll have something interesting to contribute here.
Check out the long thread on the topic of the stuck fan TSB. This post has a photo of the redesigned shroud. There may be other posts there and the TSB itself that show the new fan design...
Keep in mind that it’s not just the fans that are different; Porsche redesigned the shroud to prevent most debris from reaching the fans. (Hopefully someone else can answer your question about the visual difference between v1 and v2 fans.)
Here on earth where we are protected by the ozone layer, UVA is the ultraviolet band from solar emission that still penetrates the atmosphere enough to hurt us. Glass in windshields is not as effective at blocking UVA as plastics like those used to provide shatter protection in windshields, and...
That's good news! The world needs more greyscale cars like we need a hole in our collective heads. Hopefully that suppresses the rapid increase in suicides and therapists.
If you're planning to PPF your future Taycan, you can change the color at the same time. (This is NOT a wrap – PPF is much more protective and durable than vinyl wrap.) Check out this 911 that @Adrian@GlasWerksDMV converted from black to effectively mamba green using PPF that has a layer of...
See the link in my post above for the US price. Fan replacement (parts and labor) was quoted at $4k on one side only, and a bit over $8k for both sides plus the redesigned shroud replaced as a set per the TSB.
Doggone . . . you posted that alternative while I was in the process of disconnecting the 12V battery and I didn't see it until it was too late LOL. It was quite a pain to disconnect the 12V but it fixed the problem. In the process I lost a small tool down in the bowels of the car somewhere...
@WalterG , great work, but I wonder if the built-in repeater would have met your needs. My thought process:
Although your Taycan and your cell phone are both using the Verizon network, your Taycan has useable signal strength via its external antenna, whereas your cell phone has intermittently...
Forgeline sells 19" wheels. For example, the FU3C style that @Adrian@GlasWerksDMV designed with Forgeline for my Taycan is available in multiple sizes including 19":

True. For those curious about the parking brake, the post linked below has a photo of a service manual page with an illustration. There is one drum brake on each side at the rear. The parking brake does not lock the front wheels. The thread linked below began when a Taycan parked on a...
It's great that EVOffer comes with replacement door latches. I had Motowey soft close mechanisms installed in 2022, and the installer had to drill out fasteners to re-use the existing latches.

In the US,
per the TSB (see https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/tsb-noise-droning-humming-from-vehicle-front-end-redesigned-fans-air-guides-wheel-liners-may-10-2023.16326/)
For model years 2020 and 2021,
PCNA should approve replacement of both fans plus installation of the redesigned...
