One trick I have learned about service loaner Macans is that the customers prior to me don't add the recommended fuel for the models that take high octane. If I have the loaner long enough to drain the tank, I notice it performs better when I add high octane for those models that call for it...
My friend's 17 year old son is a private pilot, meaning he earned the trust to fly an expensive plane alone. I let him drive my Taycan and do launch control starts. It's terrible to hold back an individual just because their peers have a bad reputation.
When I was seventeen, in the early '80s, my best friend's parents had Mazda RX7s, super torque-y with manual transmissions. My friend got to drive them and I savor the memories being the passenger. I think they trusted him because our parents also had boats we would take out on long sails...

If you are going to PPF your Taycan, you can combine that with a color change:

Thanks for the inside perspective! Do you anticipate that independent shops are, or soon will be, ready to service the full range of Taycan issues? I am anxious to have service visits where the technician is really happy to spend as much time as is necessary to troubleshoot and service my Taycan.
I checked out the warranties sold by the Porsche dealerships and ended up going with XCelerate Auto (XCare). No claims yet, but I experienced great communication when I was researching them, and they are familiar with warranty needs specific to EVs.
Check out Gyeon leather treatment (professionally applied). This photo was taken by forum member @Adrian@GlasWerksDMV about 40,000 miles after his team applied Gyeon. They said it was very easy to clean. This is Olea leather in Atacama beige by the way, and I took no special precautions to keep...
I’m at 54,123 miles, so not quite your target audience. My Taycan was manufactured July 2020, so almost five years ago. Warranty repairs include new HV battery, new radiator fans/shroud, new brake lines, and new software, which brought them up to the newer designs. That plus the inside and...

As @Tooney and @Flying ace said, one increment of the EVSE recall is APB6. Note that Porsche initially provided "backwards" NEMA replacement cables, and then phased them out in favor of correctly designed cables. Personally, I'm refusing the recall until my dealership depletes their supply of...
