Another model year 2020 Taycan owner here . . . Porsche replaced my entire high voltage battery pack less than a year ago, so the age of the car doesn't necessarily equate to the state of the battery pack.

The dealership always gives me a base Macan as a loaner. This time I had the loaner long enough that I consumed all the gas in the tank. When I refueled, I obeyed the notice on the fuel door and filled up with 93 octane. The performance difference was night and day!

After the first two sets of tires wore out the inner edge, I started asking the shop to put my car in Sport mode for alignment, to match the way I always drive. My current set of tires has lasted about twice as long as the first two sets. Same brand and model of tire.

I’m pretty much in agreement with you, except that a 3.3 mm dent in the shield under the battery pack can lead to the car being totaled by the insurance company given that Taycans rapidly depreciate below the ridiculous price quoted for that issue.

I was automatically charged for the Porsche Connect renewal, and did absolutely nothing to activate or re-activate anything.

Since I haven't driven a car with a clutch pedal in a very long time, I've trained myself to brake with my left foot. That should eliminate the risk of unintended acceleration.

Perhaps it's a glitch in my favor? I've just allowed Porsche Connect to renew each year, and the free charging continues.

@Endodoc, @JIP1080, can you clarify whether you tried plug-and-charge only, or if you also could not start the free EA charging session from the My Porsche app?
