Resurrecting this thread to report that I'm on year five of Porsche Connect service and I'm still receiving free EA charging. My MY2020 Taycan does not have plug and charge, so I activate EA charging via the My Porsche app.
Are you sure your free charging ended? I’m on the fifth year of the Porsche Connect contract on my MY2020 Taycan (purchased September 2020), and I charged free today at EA, with the usual app notification that charges would apply after the first 30 minutes. I did not retrofit the 22 kW charger...
The TSB rework is not only to replace the fans, but also the shrouds, with a new design such that the shrouds prevent road grit from seizing up the fans again. So if you only had a fan replaced, then it will eventually seize up again due to the defective shroud design.
Did you get both fans replaced or just one? I just received my 2020 Taycan back from the dealership for the fan/shroud replacement TSB. Even though I brought it in for inspection per the TSB, the dealership initially wanted to charge me $4k to replace the driver's side fan that seized. I pointed...
@jrmca, see if this thread about pinched air lines is applicable:

You mean the $4 flap you can replace yourself according to this thread?

Perhaps you already knew this, but for everyone else: Night Vision Assist is active regardless of whether you display it on the dashboard. When it detects an animal or pedestrian about to cross in front of the Taycan, it takes over the display, and automatically brakes if necessary. I had NVA...
@daveo4EV, please share with your fellow Yanks what it was like performance driving with all the controls reversed! In my imagination, defying deeply habituated muscle memory in a physically and cognitively demanding scenario doesn’t end well.
I recall reading that the initial factory-spec 2025 Taycans for dealer inventory all lack Porsche Active Ride, and are either the oak green (non-GT) or the sky purple (GT). So regardless of whether you like oak green, isn’t the bigger problem that it will lack PAR?
What's it like tracking a right-hand drive car when all your experience and muscle memory is left-hand drive? And if it has a manual transmission, well I can't imagine how long it will take to adapt to quick shifting with the other hand.
Everyone feel free to point at me and laugh, but I encourage the dealership to drive my Taycan as much as possible when it’s in for service. I even told them to feel free to offer test drives to customers. My thought process is, the more issues they uncover while it’s under warranty, the better...
EV-only parking garages won’t need as much ventilation, usually provided by open air, and therefore lack of climate control. So an EV-only parking floor could be much more pleasant in uncomfortable seasons than a floor that has to purge ICE exhaust. On the other hand, an EV-only floor will have...
@Ducs, you have a delightful writing style that is unlikely to ever be replicated by a large language model. That said, what is your thought process in creating a new thread on a topic for which information-dense and freshly updated threads already exist?
Sounds to me like you have bad cell(s). Get an OBDII reader and check the cell map and state of health, while you still have warranty coverage ensuring at least 80% battery capacity. (In North America, 80% capacity is ensured by warranty until you reach 3 years/37,750 miles.)...

For future consideration, some of us had windshield protective film installed (e.g. Stek Dynoflex) that has prevented all glass chips.
