If im not mistaken the car keeps track of how many launch controls have been done, I think i've seen that value when I connected an obd scanner to check the battery health ... the dealer will be able to give you that number as well. I think mine was 6 ... you really dont do it all that often...

Tyre temperature will also help a bit. SoC cant be too low either I would like to use launch conrol more often, when Im the first car at a red light ... but those white lines from the pedestrian crossing (that are present just after pretty much every traffic light) make my tyres break...

The taycan has a 2-speed gearbox, its not making fake gear shifts, its actually shifting gears :) I will admit the sound of the downshift is able to get a little smile on my face ... usually got a grumpy face while driving as traffic around here is horrible most of the time.

Id also think it was something related to something getting too hot ... those cooling fans that sit in front of your front tyres do tend to get blocked/clogged from time to time either with dried up dirt or small stones, depending on the drive mode they may not been providing enough cooling...

These days reliability has gone down for all brands. Some of it due to cars having (too) much tech, but also because they are trying to save a penny on every single part. Many parts are not failing because of actual wear and tear, but because of design-flaws and/or inferior quality to begin...
