friends, I have a slightly silly question on the topic of overboost/launch of the Taycan.
I have an RWD, no Sport Chrono (sport button). I understand it does not have "launch control" per se, but does it go into overboost if I repeat the launch control sequence (e.g. foot on the brake...
Greetings from the EU! A humble RWD Taycan, first plunge into the EV space. So far, so good. Was a half-random buy as my order for another (ICE) Porsche got delayed and I decided it was a sign to make a more radical switch. Still have a couple of ICE cars in the garage, but this thing drives...
here in the EU, the discounts are driven by the fact of a facelift appearing soon, so the dealers are willing to fill the order books with an "outgoing" generation and incentivize people not to wait, but to order now. But that's EU.
Taycan RWD, small battery. Pretty much the lightest out there - with 100% charge and normal driving its getting around 370 kms of highway, using a/c, music, and, well, using it as a normal car in general.
city, with active (sometimes overly active) driving, would be around 310 on an 80% charge.
thank you, this is tremendously helpful and does not seem like a major interior overhaul, DIY level.
what I cannot understand is whether you can remove the front without removing the back first.
Dear friends,
the matter of the issue is: a slightly inelegant movement with the keys in my hand left the front cupholder area (right where the taycan logo is) slightly scratched.
while it’s not the end of the world, I’m trying to figure out whether it is an easy replacement or something that...
it honestly feels like one should not overstress about it. E.g. you do not charge 100% all the time, if you do so once in a while and leave for a few hours (or a day), it should not create any issues. If it really did, that would render the car overly fragile for everyday use.
hey and appreciate your answer!
The car is indeed new, took delivery about a month ago from the local dealer. I am, thus, the first owner.
1) Will try, thank you.
2) The sensors were not taken apart or disconnected in any way, will observe if the bug returns. So far seems to be gone for some...
hey, my optimal (not the cheapest, but reasonable) combo is:
1) front PPF (bumper, frunk, front wings including charging ports). NB: do not wrap the headlights, they crack as it creates cooling issues.
2) light polish + ceramic coat over the body + wheels
3) Acquapel (or similar) for glass...
hey guys, glad to be here. Thought I chip in with a couple of issues I noticed throughout the first 1000 kms (figure 620 miles or so) in a Taycan RWD. The car is purchased new in Eastern Europe. Important note - I do have a certain degree of being a control freak when it comes to cars, so I...
