Thanks for all the useful feedback. One problem with the GTS is that it isn't possible to specify Active Ride without the Dynamic Package. Yes, the latter might be what I need to get the ultra-crisp steering, but it also compromises the low-speed ride I.M.H.O. Here's my corresponding GTS...

I guess one might argue that less weight over the front end is a good thing - as is the purity of RWD. Some critics certainly seem to prefer the RWD model… and the Gen-2 car is much faster than Gen 1. I haven’t had a chance to drive either though, but did really enjoy my 2 hours in the RWD...
