Had this on (at least) one occasion. Switched off and back on again - gone. The Taycan has a veritable treasure trove of error messages that it seems keen to randomly share with us occasionally.

Weird. Why? They don't strike me as "wear & tear". And if their true value isn't even $1, why would Porsche tarnish the rep of the warranty for that?

I may have found the menu item you are referring to under Settings/Vehicle Settings/Tyre pressure monitoring. Not really sure what it is doing there since I had expected the TPM to be agnostic. More importantly, while it asks about the size of the rims, it does not ask about the profile data...

So ... if I may take all of this at face value, your careful curation of your Model 3 over the years of ownership appears to have spared you nothing from the expected degradation in the stats before. Ergo, I might as well charge the crap out of my battery :like:

Sorry for my naivety but surely I cannot fit a 20" wheel to a car that is configured for 21" - does that not knock out the speedometer? So I thought you would fit a higher sidewall tire on to the smaller rim to end up with the overall same diameter of the wheel. Well, Porsche seems to agree...

And compensate with a higher side-wall?

What all-season options are there for the Taycan? I have only found summer options for 21". Not even winter ones.

@f1eng Well, I get the use of winter tires when snow is all around us. That happened to me once in 25 years. And I chose not to drive. (Discovered bread making that winter.) My question is more about the difference on clean dry roads in simply low temps. That's the typical winter around here...

Can I just check - what tires do you have? I never really understood what "winter tires" were supposed to accomplish but read in Taycan manual with some surprise that temps below -15C ruin summer tires. We are not spoiled for choice on those rims and I could not find any all-season tires. Do...

Prompted by this thread I had a nose around for tires. Options seem to be very limited. I dunno what other places do but in the UK, tires are rated by energy efficiency, wet grip capability and noise level. Purely on paper, the Bridgestone Potenza Sport B-Silent ENLITEN 305/30 21Y (104) seems...

When I drove thru Belgium 3 weeks ago, I received one map update after another and the nav crashed on me every 10 mins. When I repeated the identical trip 1 week ago, I received no map updates and the nav was fine. EDIT: Both trips with active Charge Planner.

I meant .../Charger Planner/Active. That feature seems to cause all the issues. Without Charge Planner, the nav seems to behave itself for most people. Probably related to the immense number of HPC in Europe. The nav can't cope.

You had the Charge Planner on?

It is usually the car alarm that drains them over time.

Thanks :) All the instructions I have seen start with "open frunk" (and there is an elaborate procedure for that). The quoted premise is different, hence my curiosity.
