Mine used to change to the set level (say 80%) on the first night. But if I left it plugged in, it would then charge to 100% the next night. I seem to remember others saying similar on here.

I don't think it's any coincidence that they are suddenly using the phrase 'ageing' instead of 'fault'. Even when it's a dormant manufacturing fault. You did well getting a complete new battery after 4 years! Does the replacement battery get a new 8 year warranty from 2024?.
