Price of larger battery dropped by $1,000 in US

So is thousands for different colored thread though. I know some people think there isn’t cross shopping but I suspect Porsche is keeping an eye on the competition and I’m excited for their response to Plaid (although not excited for my residual). That was an interesting article though and...

Charge Port Cover - Increased Drag

You're talking about the front intakes which is different than what others are talking about in this thread. The vents behind the wheels are used to reintegrate the turbulent air from the wheels spinning. They are different than the intakes at the front which deal with smoothly flowing air and...

    Best Practices for Charging?

But it also says to charge the car to 50%. Why charge to 50% only to charge to 85%? Instructions unclear... I ended up charging my car to 135%.

What’s the deal with the tire pressure deviation screen?

I have 19” all-seasons set to part load. Target pressure is supposed to be 33/32. I have them set to 34/33 cold. Yet the deviation screen says my tires are +0 for the front and +3/+4 on the rears??? The manual says they take into account tire temperature but I measured everything at the same...

Top 10 impressions on my options (if you were wondering about base stereo, metal roof, RAS, limestone, etc.)

I had a hard time choosing between options as not all were available at the dealer. Luckily I can say I don't regret a single choice. Some impressions in case it helps others. Base stereo is perfectly acceptable for background listening. Bass is fine even without the subwoofer. There is...

    Charger mount anchors

The anchors that come with the charger mount look like they’re for drywall? Am I supposed to use them to mount on concrete? Instructions are ridiculously vague although they come in 100 languages in four books.

    Uncomfortable Seat

Do the people complaining about comfort have ventilated seats? I've found that those have less cushioning.

    Blocking front wheel arch vents

Doesn’t seem odd to me. The mechanism for the electric door must block the vent.

    Blocking front wheel arch vents

I wouldn't do it but you could use automotive tape to attach a mesh there, which would keep the aero benefits and block the rocks.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

I remembered that the voltage range for the battery is published. It's 835V (full) to 610V (depleted), so 27% reduction in performance.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

@Rob_UK can you explain more how you would use that dial? AFAIK the blue line just tells you how much power you're currently using. Are you saying there's something else there that indicates the max power you can use?

Charging speed not slowing down at 90% SOC when using a 50kwh DC charger.

The rough analogy I heard was it's like filling up a glass of water. Once you get near the top you have to slow down so you don't overflow the cup.
