Yet another electrical system error - ARB6 software in action?

The wait is frustrating and I share your distaste for the poor performance of ICE Macans. But I agree with the others, the most risk prone part of the car is getting an update to the latest and greatest! Worth the wait. If it helps, think of all the miles you’re keeping off your car. :)

My Experience With The Dreaded UVEye Scanner

I recommend reading the thread in full, as there were lots of twists and turns. The real sticking point for me in the story was this tiny 3mm ding ended up taking his car hostage, they wouldn't give it back without repairing it (despite the fact it was working fine.)

    Creaky Cupholders - solutions??

I hate it too but I just deal.

My Experience With The Dreaded UVEye Scanner

Notably, it said nothing in the UVEye report about the scratch on the rear bumper cover (which is why it’s there, getting it swapped.) So maybe the service folks get some editorial discretion.,

    OTA Update - WTD4 - Battery monitoring

It looks like the campaign for my J1.2 is WTF7. WTF indeed.

I believe those Hunter machines are just for doing alignments. I could be wrong.

Not sure about alignment, definitely tread wear. No idea about Carfax, but every visit to this dealer has shown there so I assume it will.

    OTA Update - WTD4 - Battery monitoring

This is interesting because my 2025 showed it needs a battery control unit update when I took it in today. The TSB shows through 2024.

My Experience With The Dreaded UVEye Scanner

Yeah I know, I'm of mixed mind. It protects them which shows me they take care not to cause new damage while the vehicle is in their care. I didn't need to know about these tiny faults, but what really worries me is a 3mm ding one day taking my car hostage. I still think that @Maelstrom got...

My Experience With The Dreaded UVEye Scanner

Yep! I want to be clear though; this is still the best shop in the Bay Area and I am still very happy with them.

My Experience With The Dreaded UVEye Scanner

I noticed with mild concern that my preferred shop now has the dreaded UVEye scanner. I'm sure most of us remember this device from this legendary thread...

718/983 Cayman & Boxster Leaks & confirmed features

Oh sure. 10/10 for charger access, 1/10 for rear aesthetics. It's not well hidden and the large rectangular door in the middle sticks out.

Not sure I like the butthole on the back, but I'll deal.

Bought a CPO 2020 Taycan this year, undriveable since April, repurchase request just denied. Anyone been here? (Connecticut)

It’s probably not just them, it’s an overall lack of techs and education for diagnosing and fixing EV issues. I started with yellow ring of death, only under optimal charging speed. Took it in, they said it’s fine, updated this or that firmware. Problem persisted. Took it to another...

Bought a CPO 2020 Taycan this year, undriveable since April, repurchase request just denied. Anyone been here? (Connecticut)

It’s inexcusable to send the car back to have it immediately die. They have got to improve their EV diagnosis and repair.

are NF tyres really required to protect warranty?

The tires with the best longevity / performance tradeoff are Michelin PS4S - not N rated. TBH though I've gone back to P-Zeros for noise reasons, myself.

2027 Taycan gets E-Shift, larger battery and much more - new model year!

Where is the new phone tray? I don’t see it in the interior configuration pics.

Yeah. It means my J1.2 just took a giant hit.
