My Smart Lift feature has completely disappeared. I can still manually lift, but it no longer offers to save the location, and it never auto lifts either. I saw some people say rebooting the PCM fixed this after taking an online update. I don’t have a reboot gesture on J1.2 - anyone else?

I bought a 25 last December and they sent me one.

Had a similar experience on a 911. Those fibrous covers are cheap, like $300. Worth it to swap them out IMO and the tech can eyeball the guts while doing it. I wouldn’t claim insurance for this personally, not worth a bad carfax.

If anyone is looking for this sound - it turned out to be a damaged wheel bearing and a spinning nut on a control arm. Both replaced and the car finally sounds as it should. I blame the track abuse.

Happy to report the metallic hiss that has plagued me since I bought this car is resolved at last. Took it for a highway spin tonight and it's finally as it should be.

Well to be fair I’m at 5700 or something now, and AFAIK the wheel bearing IS covered. Will find out when I pick it up. I’m just happy it’s getting fixed as the noise really ruined the car.

Yes, but warranty doesn’t cover wear items. And it appears the CPO inspection isn’t much of one.

Sure didn’t! I thought it was a press car. Brake scraoing noise led me to get it diagnosed and the tech showed me the trashed pads and rotors, heat marks on the calipers, etc. After that got fixed, a noise at speeds > 65mph remained from the front left wheel which I now know to be a bearing...
