Actually, I already did buy a Taycan again. My new GTS currently has a production date of March 2nd, i.e. in two weeks :). I did drive my T4S since February 2020 and yes, the car had more issues than it should have, but it still was and is an out of this world experience for me. It is by far the...
Hello,
I would (well I did, both on the T4S I have and the GTS that will come in March) really go for the panoramic roof, it is super good. The only reason not to take it would be if you can order the electrochromic glass. That may be even better.
Cheers,
Henrik
Hello there,
I ordered the 4S in the week it was announced and got it in February 2020. It was and is a great car - when it is not waiting for spare parts, such as now, it has been sitting in the dealer's lot since 28th of October due to a defect heat pump, which seems to be unobtainable. Very...
Same issue here in Munich with my T4S: The heating failed completely, due to a malfunctioning heat pump. And the replacement pump also has been on back order... since FOUR WEEKS and two days, with no end in sight.
At least they gave me a Cayenne to drive around in.

Technological enhancements: more range in practice
The new Taycan model year will not be homologated separately, so there will not be any new WLTP range values. However, the real-world range of the latest versions will be greater in day-to-day use. Extensive technological developments...
The one interesting rumour is that the extended range that the GTS has, be it caused by real technical improvements or by WLTP paper shuffling, will come to and be in all MY23 Taycans, i.e. from late summer 2022 on.
If that is true, the GTS would be the first "MY23".
Of course, I am hoping...
I bought a GTS for February 2022 production, it was the first sold and the first allocation slot at my dealer. We hope that it will be on the ground in Munich in late February or early March.
Cheers,
Henrik
Regarding the range: My local source said today that it is a new battery management system and the GTS is the first to get it. He also said that all other Taycan variants will also get it, starting with model year 2023, i.e. in late summer 2022.
Whether this is true, I don't know. The same...
The GTS just came up on the configurator in Germany !
power up from 420 kW by 20 kW to 440 kW compared to the 4S -> a bit lame
torque up from 650 Nm by 200 Nm to 850 Nm -> extremely interesting
energy consumption down from 26,0-21,0 to 23,3-20,3 kWh/100km -> very interesting
WLTP range up...
You made an interesting choice. One of my co-managers test drove the Taycan, but also chose the e-Tron GT RS. It looks and sounds good. Of course, I drove his car, too, after delivery. And funnily, I liked the steering of the Taycan a bit better. But both are great, also, the e-Tron has "The...
