Your favourite Taycan option & why?

The massage seats are in fact really nice; better than I thought they would be, but I would not regard it as my favourite option.

    Leather Interior Options

The areas that gets covered by leather will mostly otherwise just be plastic so I don’t think you need to worry about adding too many leather options (other than being expensive). I added every leather option on the menu for my build, and at least I can say that it looks amazing. Granted, I...

Your favourite Taycan option & why?

Sport Chrono by far. If you could actually set a default mode when you start the car it wouldn’t be as important, but as it is now it’s a must to be able to quickly switch modes. As a second point I would actually say InnoDrive (+ ALK). Not because it’s amazing, but because for longer trips...

24 hours with a Taycan GTS Sport Turismo (Coffee Beige Metallic)

I think the biggest benefit of the Head-Up Display is that it essentially give you one additional section to show info on. I usually have the expanded map on the main display and energy/driver assistant/road signs in the HUD.

    Complex Charging software profiles.

I feel that many people are overthinking how Profiles and Timers work. Set a profile to whatever charge level you want for day to day use and the car will charge to that level when you plug it in. Then if you‘re going to do a trip where you want to start with a full charge or just want the car...

First 1000 miles - prioritization of features for buyers & some remaining mysteries for owners

Regarding the trunk, make sure you aren’t pushing the close&lock button instead of the close button if a door is open. If the car can’t lock for whatever reason (typically because a door is ajar), the trunk will not close completely in order to prevent you from walking away thinking the car is...

Important Free Software Update for Your Taycan Now Available at Your Porsche Dealer

I got the WNA5 update yesterday. I was scheduled for 10:00 and I was back in my car at 10:45. After reading the forums I was expecting the worst, but everything went extremely smooth.

CT alarm issue, how common is it?

I would say that it’s pretty safe to assume so, yes. My MY22 CT built late January doesn’t seem to have this problem, at least.

Important Free Software Update for Your Taycan Now Available at Your Porsche Dealer

Oof, the dilemma. I’m going on a trip next week, but I can’t decide whether it would be better or worse to get the update before the trip.

Why is the range on a full charge only showing as 211 miles?

Also for the first few hundred kilometres or so, regen is disabled for some reason. The range will then most likely slowly start increasing the more you drive.

    Battery range upgrade?

I think the range increase is simply the same upgrade that the MY22 got except that the Sport Turismo got a new WLTP rating since it’s a new model.

Active Lane Keeping is surprisingly good

It’s absolutely torque based, which I honestly think is a bit cheap for such a premium car. However, at least it’s pretty sensitive so just gently keeping your hands on the wheel seems to be enough to satisfy it. Also, since I forgot to mention it: If you’re trying out InnoDrive (which is the...

Active Lane Keeping is surprisingly good

I thought it could be interesting to hear what others think about this. I've been driving my Taycan for a few weeks now and when I bought the car I can honestly say that I did not expect much from ALK, especially coming from a long time Tesla owner. However, now a few weeks later, I'm...

My 3D printed Taycan phone holder

A bit late (have been working remotely so I haven’t left the apartment for a few days), but here‘s a photo of how it looks like:

    HUD + Passenger Display

I did drive a loaner without the HUD originally. The extra hood isn't exactly extremely noticeable while driving. You lose a bit of the floating dash aesthetics that you get without the HUD, but like I said, it's very minor. If you're literally ONLY going by dash appearance alone, then I think...

    Small Garage Problems….

Remote park isn’t amazingly reliable either. It’s pretty slow and doesn’t always connect as it should so having to rely on that every day would probably be really frustrating.

Carmine red GTS - with what interior colour?

I posted a bunch of photos a while ago of my Atacama club leather interior with Carmine red exterior, if you want to see some examples. Personally, I think the combination looks great and makes the car feel a bit more sober than with e.g. an all black or red interior would...

My 3D printed Taycan phone holder

If anyone is looking for a more premium solution, I can confirm that this print worked great together with the Peak Design car mount that they just released. There's both a charging version and a thinner non-charging version. https://www.peakdesign.com/products/car-mount?variant=39469260996685...
