People using iPhones should also turn off location access when car is not in regular use. Occasionally I get a pop up on my phone saying “Myporsche has accessed your location X times in X days”. I think default is always on.
Ioniq 5 owners seems to be having the same 12v issues. Nice video where owner has had an update that seems to have fixed the issue and fitted a 12v battery monitor to see what’s happening with the 12v battery. Thankfully 12V issues seem to be less of an issue but something owners who could do if...
As every OPC has different amount of allocations assigned to them. Not knowing allocations history a guess would be a guess at best.
It has been mentioned that all OPCs have been assigned their allocations for 2022. You need to ask your OPC whether they have received any allocation from the...
I can't fully comment between CT4 and 4S as I'm in a TS but test drove a 4S prior to buying. I came from a Audi SQ7 and believe you will notice a big difference between your Audi and either Taycan. Frankly the kickdown on the SQ7 at lower speeds was terrible. The delay between planting your foot...
You have confused the park assist with remote park assist as I did.
Park assist only means it has parking sensors. When enquiring to Porsche parts I was adamant I did not have park assist on my car whereas they said it was definitely on my equipment list according to my VIN.
Park assist with...
Strange how your dealer has a different cable. Presume you're talking about the optioned type 2 charge cable. Both myself and work neighbour who has a Audi Etron GT (FOC from Audi ) received the exact same cable from the VW parts bin. Harting type 2 3ph 32A
Did she not argue the valuation? If it's none fault then generally it's fairly easy to get maximum payout. I've had 2 write offs by third parties. Once by the police hitting me when parked avoiding a car pulling out of a side road. The other head on by a drunk driver. Both times they low balled...
Afaik I know dealers in the Porsche retail group do not deal with lease companies. I think all lease cars come from franchise dealers. This is what I was told by Porsche hatfield. One of the main reasons is that they have no opportunity to get the car back as it’s owned by the lease companies.
For further reference my CT that I collected a week before Xmas 2021 .
Locked 2nd week of October, built 2nd week of November, arrived at dealer 2nd week Dec.
This.
Mrs has the new Gen 3 Macan. Cameras on that are fine. Cameras on my Taycan are better.
I posted this in the forum before. Kerbside view (excuse the wonky camera work, really should’ve had a passenger in the car filming) for our American friends to see if theirs are different.
Mine is...
Suppose to be £5k for Taycan, £3k for Macan, £10k for the GT cars as shown by dealer docs when they send you new order form. However Hatfield only asked me for £3k. Tbh not really fussed either way as fully refundable prior to lock date. However some dealers (most likely franchised) will ask for...
Unfortunately I’m probably not the best person to ask. I had only done a few hundred miles when I got the update done. I have noticed the claimed range at 100% has increased but this could well be the upturn in weather and driving style rather than the update. On collection 100% it said 200...
Depends how OCD you are about the paint on your car. If you're the type who takes the car to the drive through/supermaket hand wash car washes then I'd save the money and wouldn't bother with either. Ceramic will be money down the drain after a few visits to one of those.
Watch this for a bit...
I'm not surprised at all by it only surprised that they actually admitted to a third party that they had done it. I'm also originally from a country that is arguably the biggest communist country in the world. We still live a world where money talks. It makes sense to look after...
I’m quite surprised the dealer would disclose this information to you. Something similar happened to the Mrs Macan GTS but less sinister. We were 10th and he was 16th in the queue at the same dealer. He wasn’t even in the same round of allocations yet was able get his car a month earlier. Our...
I would say you’re fairly accurate. The other half Macan GTS had a Feb 4th build but didn’t complete until 6 weeks later. Collected about 2 weeks ago.
IMO for anyone who has configured and ordered a new car in the past 2 months here in the UK. 7-8 months from ordering to receiving is very...
