I would lease. The residual value of Gen 1’s will continue to be pressed downward by advances in batteries and the optimization of their related software.
BTW, I do miss massaging seats. That said, the seats are just as comfortable as the big seats in a Cayenne.
Third seat is a joke. Under 12” wide, uncomfortable and sized for a Lilliputian. Not a big pivot point for a buyer, IMO. The 150kw option is an interesting option. I was concerned my Turbo came without it, but have never seen an issue with charging where the KW rate at different charge...
If you’re looking for loaded options be sure to keep that warranty in place and plan on some shop time. The techs are still learning as they go and the more complex setup, the more likely it’s going to end up with them at some point.

I put PPF on the outside of the pano roof. Can’t tell it’s there. So far, no hits. I thought about the windshield and my highly trusted installer advised against it. Told me wiper scratches could be a problem.
Doesn't seem like a bargain for a base 4. I'd look for a 2022-23 4S or higher with low miles. You can probably find one in the same price range. CPO is not that big a deal. As long as the original warranty is still in effect, you can buy a Porsche Platinum Extended warranty.
No contest. Get the 2021 Turbo. I had a new 2023 4S on order during "heater-gate" and it was built without a heater and parked at the Emden port for months. Cancelled the order and bought my used 2021 Turbo. Great car. Acceleration and handling are fine for daily driving and the reserve...
Yes, on occasion. No correlation to what triggers it. Seems to be purely timing. I suspect any potential fix is software-related and on a bug list somewhere.
Just got the same notice. Anyone out there have info on this?
Whoops! Answered my own question:
Go to "Smart Service" in your car's PCM (or "Predictive Maintenance"), click on the "Inspection" tab, click on "General Service" and then set the expiration date. I just pushed mine out a year.
Interesting, Mike. I got my heater recall a month ago, made an appointment for today and got a call last night from the tech. Told me they didn’t have the part and Porsche had a company-wide “out of stock” situation.
