Just sold my loaded $140,000 2021 Taycan 4S on it’s fifth anniversary for $60,000. That's $16,000 per year in depreciation. That compares to a 2020 S-560 going for $40,000, or about the same $16,000 per year in depreciation. Both cars are superb, the best in their class. You want the best...

I am selling my 2021 Taycan 4S with less than 12,000 miles. The car is in excellent condition and has always been reliable. Located in Winter Park, FL. More here: https://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/d/winter-park-2021porsche-taycan-4s/7900139584.html.

Another Owner Experience: I purchased a new Taycan 4S in January 2021. Aside from a few inconvenient shop visits for software updates during 2021 and 2022, the car has been rock solid. The UI is just OK, but I don't buy cars for the UI. Now approaching 5 years of ownership I am very satisfied. I...
I have driven a Taycan 4S for the past 4 1/2 years and have been curious about the progress Tesla has made with their vehicles. I rented a 2026 Tesla Model Y Long Range through Turo for three days. My conclusion is that Model Y is a fantastic vehicle for families that are technologically...
" 3) I'm getting batches of "notifications" about new software features of the car... I clear them all out... then within a week they have all come back and I have to read them one by one again to get rid of them. "
I've experienced this one. The same updates seem to be repeated in a short time...
Just a confirmation of your experience and conclusions. I am on year 5 and still looking for an alternative I would prefer to no avail. The Taycan continues to be reliable and a blast to drive. Porsche should try some price sensitivity testing with Connect. I too think $319 USD is ridiculous and...
I get a reported 254 miles of range at 85% change (always home charged). This has not changed in over 4 years of ownership. Based on mileage remaining when I recharge, 240 miles at 85% seems realistic.
Big Issue: The article says Porsche Connect is now standard for new Taycans for 10 years. You would think Porsche would back date this change for their existing Taycan customers. That is, if they wanted to earn our loyalty.
My personal situation is that the car fully charges over night on a 50AMP breaker delivering about 9.6kw to the car, with a realized 8.8kw charge. This is sufficient performance and the least expensive Level II installation. Not sure the added cost of supporting 19.2kw is worth the benefit.
I'm in Cheeg's camp. Bought my 2021 Taycan 4S new with a small discount from list. I still love it after 4 years, and plan to keep it until I can find something I like better. I've test driven everything I would consider and so far, have found nothing even close in driving enjoyment and quality.
