What should I expect of Taycan Turbo S and 4S range on 80% charge (as it is advised not to charge above 80%)?

PS a mixture of city and motorway drive and motorway drive, given I usually don't exceed speed limit in UK (70 miles/Hr).

I have a CT4 from 21 and I actually charge it to 100%, I have 22k miles on it. Live in South Florida.

The last weekend we went on a 500 miles road trip on highway.

My average speed was 82mph, the frunk and trunk were packed fully, 2 adults and a kid.

200 miles range per 100% charge.

If I drive with 60mph in range mode I can do 230 miles.

For day to day use it’s irelevant as I charge it 2 times per week

Two key factors for this particular comparison (same weather)- wheel size and type of rim, Turbo S will always be more thirsty due to the more powerful motors.

The 80% (normally 85%) recommendation is for daily charging. 100% okon occasions if used that day.

Go with 85% and worst will be 175 miles in winter and 215 in summer.

If you are going to drive it straightaway, it is fine to charge to 100%. My GTS charged to 100% will do a 200 mile round trip including 180miles on the motorway and still have 25%-30% charge left. This is with four passengers but no luggage. Motorway speed is between 60-80mph depending on roadworks etc.

The estate car versions have 20% more drag so use more energy on motorways.
I charge to 100% if I am going on a long journey.
In winter on 20" winter tyres my CT4S gets around 200 miles on runs which are more than 50% motorway and 230 if I stick to interesting roads.
In summer on 21" summer tyres about 10 to 15% more.

Mixture upto 70mph in my experience - it will vary for sure but be in the ball park.

99% home charging - cheap as chips (£0.07 / kW).

I get a reported 254 miles of range at 85% change (always home charged). This has not changed in over 4 years of ownership. Based on mileage remaining when I recharge, 240 miles at 85% seems realistic.

I have turbo S sport turismo with 21” tyres.
I do a lot of mixed driving but am not quite as law abiding as you are.

In winter I was as low as 145 miles @ 80% charge, now it is around 160.
