Hi Caroline. Really sorry to hear of your problems. I'm hoping OPC Norwich can check the car and sort this out for you. Not good news after the recall update.
I
I’ve added it to my specification having had it on my 991.2 GTS Targa. I had a 991.1 GTS prior to that without PDCC, and the ride quality on the Targa was much better. That may, of course, be because the Targa has a softer suspension setting than the equivalent coupe - I don’t know.

Spoken to my OPC who, in turn, have spoken to Porsche. Porsche have said there is an error on the configurator and that air suspension is standard on Turbo S models. They have said they will correct this error.
Thanks for the replies.
This reminds me of the time Porsche started selling the Cayenne in 2003/2004. I had ordered a Turbo, but there was a problem with the supply of air suspension units for the cars. The S model came with steel springs (but you could opt to add air), but I didn't like the...
Having just finalised my spec for a 2022 Turbo S, I was checking through the standard features of the car on the Porsche website, and found there is no mention of air suspension being a standard fitting. Instead, it is described as having steel coil spring suspension with PASM. I’ve checked...
I got the Porsche mobile charger with my car but switched to an Andersen A2 for the main charging setup. Very pleased with the look and performance of the Andersen. The Porsche charger would only charge at 3.6 kWh (single phase 32 amp UK supply) whereas the Andersen manages 7.4 kWh.
I ordered mine on 06 January and was told there wouldn't be many Turbo S Taycans coming to the UK in 2021. I'm first in line at Norwich (with another behind me), but Norwich are a new OPC, and I'm not sure they'll be getting the same quantity of allocations as a more established dealership.

Hi Tom. I think it’s a great spec. My understanding of PDCC is that it stops roll of the car in corners, and given the weight of the Taycan, I thought it would be useful. I had it on my last 911 (Targa 991.2 GTS), and it seemed to provide a more balanced ride than the 991.1 GTS I had before...
I’m going away for a few days this week, and the place I’m staying has no external power supply (and no EV charging capacity). I was planning on taking the Porsche Mobile charger and connecting it via a three pin plug to the house socket using a domestic extension lead. Is this a huge no-no?
Sadly not. When I put my order in in January, I was told ‘end of the year’. Last month I was told that it will be next year. I’m not overly worried as I’m loving the 4S in the meantime.
