EDIT: I was mistaken. Thanks to those who clarified.
Has this person never heard of a gas shortages? It happens every year—especially in Florida due to hurricanes. Cars are literally lined up for miles and hundreds of cars end up turning around because the gas station runs out of gas.
This has been happening for decades. Here's an example from...
I live in sunny California and don't have any complaints about the standard pano roof.
With that said, if I had the option to get the Variable Light Control Roof, I would definitely get it. It would be nice to completely block out light and I think the feature is just really cool.
There's a difference between "parts made in China" and "Chinese knock-offs". The latter implies that it's cheaply made, uses poor grade materials, and only looks like the originals they are copying.
Just my personal opinion, but I think Teslas are boring. Uninspiring design, they feel cheap, poor build quality, low grade materials, panel gaps, sagging headliners. Not to mention driving dynamics are nothing at all like a Porsche or any German car in its class IMO. It feels floaty and...
If these features are important to you, you should probably stick with Tesla.
Former Tesla owner here. Other than the fact that the Model 3 and Taycan are powered by electric motors, they have almost nothing else in common.
Teslas are like appliances. They are the perfect car for people who...
This seems a lot more concerning! I use this feature every day. I really hope the recall didn’t break it.
As far as the issue described in the title, maybe this change was intended? Are you noticing a difference in range?
Charging NA app is complete trash and I can confirm that it hasn’t been working for at least two weeks ?
I don’t understand how something so critical to the EV ownership experience can be overlooked by Porsche. They’ve outsourced this to another company and Porsche Taycan owners are paying the...
It's not for everyone but I enjoy Sport Sound and I would miss it. For the same reason people enjoy dynamic exhaust notes during spirited driving, it adds to the experience IMO.
Also, the kids love it ?
I don't have any of these features ?
But, if I was to choose one, I would go with insulated glass. Porsche HUD is years behind other carmakers—like BMW. I test drove a Taycan with insulated glass and it makes a noticeable difference in noise and comfort.
Good idea—without a doubt.
It will keep your car looking like new. Also, the fact that you don't have to worry about applying a new layer of wax every 3-6 months makes it a no-brainer IMO.
I respectfully disagree. The surround view is fine, but the rear camera on the Taycan is terrible.
My other vehicle (BMW X5) has a noticeably better camera. It's the same camera that's in the BMW 3-Series which is 1/3 of the price of the Taycan.
While reversing in the Taycan, you have to do...
Consider the amount of wasted money, effort, talent and resources to get the Roadster in production—only to be delayed year-after-year. Not to mention the cancellation of the Plaid+ and delay of Cybertruck and Semi.
Meanwhile, the competition is here (or almost here). There are so many EV...
