I found it impossible to disconnect terminal on mine (UK car). Trapped under some plastic lip. The only way i could see to do it was going to break something.
I had that. AC not working but DC was.
I have the 22kw AC onboard charger. That had failed so to fix they had to replace it.
I guess if you just have the 11kw it could be same problem.
