FYI, doing a test here, the Porsche Taycan little black box electric tire inflator was unable to make the collapsable spare from a Cayenne unfold and fully take shape and inflate.
There is an updated Lectron adapter which since it looks identical to the Porsche adapter I would assume Lectron is making it for Porsche. As far as I can see, the only update to this one is the weather rating. But both are in stock if you don't want to wait for Porsche.
Did you happen to inflate this and have you used it? I picked up a Cayenne 9Y0 20" collapsible spare with 195/65R20 tire and it is a full 2" taller than my tires on my car. It would probably barely fit in there and most likely would rub on the front fender.
I think the OP is referencing the rust down by the bolts, not the actual braking surface area.
I would surely complain about that. The worst they can say is no. Then it would be up to you to disassemble and inspect which bits are actually rusting and then clean or replace those bits.
The Nine-Volt one is probably the best option as it lets you install as though it came with the car

FitCamX is very buggy. The worst of it is that it just stops recording at some point until you manually reset the unit. So, if you are like me, and never check your dash cam unless something happens then most likely you are screwed. I even worked with FitCam to troubleshoot and then they sent me...
Especially, since they fessed up to some rather detailed details. I would think that if they gave that much detail, they would be on the hook to fix it as it clearly shows why the car was damaged. I had a dealer bump my steering rack on my Cayenne while replacing the front differential and they...
I suppose the most you can do is keep track of it's idleness and that way if the SA calls you and says we were working on your car today and the 12V appears to be dead, you know where you stand.
My car was in for half a dozen recalls last winter and the same thing—sat for several weeks with no...
Pretty sure it is this one:
