The reason to discontinue it is simple. With 30,000 sales (between the S and X) it makes no sense to re-vamp it (original S is from 2012). If sales were good I'm sure they would redesign it.
Hi Prj, can you elaborate on how to adjust the lowering mode?. Is that through piwis or a different software?. I would love the option as currently using links.
I would say it's the J1.2 GT as the best, then J1.2 Turbo S and then the J1.1 Turbo S and everything else is a wash below that.
Since there are way more J1 owners than J1.2, expect the results to show that bias.
Based on the times my turbo S runs I would say low to mid 10's if traction is good. On the J1 the software tune doesn't help much if launch control is used.
My turbo S is tuned and even then it's way slower than my Plaid. I would keep both if possible, best of both world's. The Porsche is way more fun to drive than the Plaid, but the Plaid is just easy to drive.
Like New, used for only 2k miles till my aftermarket wheels came in.
Gives your car a nice flush appearance and better stance/handling.
Comes with the longer bolts. Easy Install. Price $165 shipped to the 48 states.
I read somewhere that the 5N was tuned by a higher up BMW engineer, so hence the reason it will feel like a German car when driven. For the price, I would say it's the best EV under $100k
