  1. I took my Huracan out after 2 months....I missed the Taycan

I've used the missus Cayenne all day today and it feels so slow! The violence of the acceleration and the noise in my Mclaren will take some replacing but even these types of car will be electric soon. I used to really want a Urus as a day car but I can't imagine going back to petrol after...
  2. UK and Ireland fast charging

Have a look at Watts up, there are far more than that. However It's rare for any of them to charge at 150 never mind the 270 promised.
  3. I ask and answer: Why won't my Taycan Charge as fast as I want it to?

About this bit - I couldn't find an auto setting that kept the windows clear and fiddled constantly with fan speed while on Max Def I've applied Rain Ex anti fog about 3 weeks ago. Even in snowy weather I haven't had to demist the screen once and I leave it on Eco. I'm amazed to be honest...
  4. Consumption and full battery charge level

Mines a 4S with 21s almost all my journeys are 6 miles. Mine shows as little as 150 miles. I've managed to eek it up to 168 by driving really slow with regeneration on.
  5. Taycan 4s parked on snow rolling forward - how why and wtf??

Mine puts the parking brake on when I open the door. I assumed all modern cars did this. All mine do. Would be strange if this could be turned off. It's actually a pain on one car as you have to select Neutral to allow me to put it a few inches into the garage so it doesn't hit a cabinet.
  6. PORSCHE TAYCAN 4 S vs PORSCHE TAYCAN TURBO

I went 4S as was a replacement for an S classe so absolute speed wasn't the motivation. My 4S looks identical to yours except I have white discs so I do commend Porsche for making the cars look the same across the range. The mission E wheels make it. QUOTE="CCOSH, post: 46482, member: 2250"]...
  7. PORSCHE TAYCAN 4 S vs PORSCHE TAYCAN TURBO

I wouldn't have ordered the passenger screen but it was already ordered by someone else and its actually really useful when you have passengers. [ QUOTE="Torv, post: 46214, member: 2580"] Sweet configuration! I would recommend you eliminate the brake option and just go with the standard...
  8. 6 Weeks of Taycan Turbo ownership

New Starbucks drive-thru planned for Stafford - Staffordshire Live (staffordshire-live.co.uk) Nice! I pass it on the way to work.
  9. 100% charge showing 175 mile range

    Hi What's InnoDrive? Cheers
  10. 6 Weeks of Taycan Turbo ownership

Where will the charger in Stafford be? Thats where I work. Watts Up is a decent app. You can see which chargers at a glance. I only use Instavolt Ionity Shell usually. Found a decent osprey one yesterday too. My only gripe with the car is range. Mines down to 152. Started at 200 when I...
  11. Saving settings to the keys?

I'm a stage further back that that. Every time I get in the car, the passenger heated seat is on as is the heated steering wheel. No idea how to change it,
  12. RFID cards for the UK

Seem a nice bunch :) Hi Andy, All the station on the InstaVolt network are available to the public, you do not have to be a member of the gym to use the charging stations. Please make sure to check the Bannatyne car park has some sites have a parking eye system which will require you to...
  13. RFID cards for the UK

I noticed on WattsUp that Ballentines health clubs have instavolt chargers. They didn't show up on Zap Map. Anyone know if they are for general us or customers only ? Anyone used the EV station in Braintree yet ? Looks like the future!
  14. I ask and answer: Why won't my Taycan Charge as fast as I want it to?

How did you get the charge value at the bottom of the screen to display?
  15. RFID cards for the UK

Discovered WattsUp today. Its excellent as you get more information about the chargers. A general map on it woukd be handy too.
  16. 100% charge showing 175 mile range

    I don't even get that rolling down hill :) :) :)
  17. 100% charge showing 175 mile range

This part of your post intrigues me. Using mainly Normal with very little sporty driving mine is usually 48-52 kWh / 100 mi. That's a 4S on 21"'s . I've tried crawling for a few miles trying to hardly touch the accelerator to see how low it would go and I managed about 37 Kwh/100 mi My starting...
  18. Saved by Instavolt again

The daddy is Ionity but just not enough of them yet. That new Beaconsfield one will make a big difference.
  19. Saved by Instavolt again

Yet again today saved twice by driving miles out of my way to find an instavolt charger albeit it 50kwh. Having tried 2 Ecotricity and a BP Pluse which looked exactly like an Ecotricity device that didn't work! I read a post from a user recently saying that maybe some customers weren't quite...
  20. UK Owners - 50kw CCS Electric Highway Chargers (ecotricity)

Terrible. Jsut wanted half an hour trying to get one to work. Foudn q nearby Instavolt and a quick tqpbwith card and your are away. A journey down the M5 and I don't think there are any fast chargers. Stuck on this one for 2 hours.
