Yet again today saved twice by driving miles out of my way to find an instavolt charger albeit it 50kwh.
Having tried 2 Ecotricity and a BP Pluse which looked exactly like an Ecotricity device that didn't work!
I read a post from a user recently saying that maybe some customers weren't quite ready for EVs. The real point is that some countries aren't quite ready, namely the UK.
I haven't seen a new device installed for ages. I wonder how you manage in France?I spend a lot of time in Normandy and I can only see one decent ionity charger at the baie de somme and no 50kwh chargers for miles. I just couldn't imagine taking my car there.
As much as the Taycan is a fantastic car if it wasn't for the few Instavolt chargers out there I would have bailed out by now and gone back to diesel.
Well done Instavolt!

Definitely concur, I plan any trips to include Instavolt, always found them reliable, unlike Ecotricity and there totally unreliable network.

You are going to have a challenge as it stands at the moment. There are a few 50 kW chargers in principle. But the EDF subsidiary responsible for chargers, last year shut down most of their 50 kW chargers due to some HW incident. And then it seems they have reviewed their business plan and since the 50 kW chargers were not used that much, they might not reopen!!! So much for progress and pro actively driving the change! There are a number of 22 kW AC and also some 43 kW AC chargers around. If you have the 22 kW option that might help a bit?

Chargemap app is quite useful here.

The daddy is Ionity but just not enough of them yet. That new Beaconsfield one will make a big difference.
