If anyone has experience with UK car finance rejections, help truly appreciated.
I think the stance taken by the supplying dealer is wrong and citizens advice suggest it is aswell.
So the Porsche OPC (supplying dealer) are refusing to accept my rejection, stipulating its too late and the issue wasn't there at point of sale.
Given my local OPC specifically asked me if I intended to reject the car, I find the stance they are taking beyond disappointing.
They think they've...
From their previous investigation, there were 2 prematurely degraded cells diagnosed, who knows if its even those throwing the code, after all they said they'd fixed the issue. The cells were not diagnosed back in june when the car first went in, so I could be looking at 2 separate faults...
Sounds like my paint work after detailing and ceramic coat by the OPC.
The whole experience has been poor, but it doesnt make the Taycan a bad car, its a wonderful car, i just got a bad one.
It was appalling.
Im dropping the car off at the supplying dealer prior to the new year. Ive told them I do so, expecting to not see it again.
They would like the chance to check the car themselves, which i totally understand.
I checked my mileage and the first fault occurred at 350 miles, and i'd hardly driven...
Have spoken now both with my local OPC and the supplying dealer. Both very sympathetic, totally understanding my position. The intention is to potentially have the car recovered to the supplying dealer, and ultimately for me to reject the car.
I need to speak to the head of service at the...
As per my other thread, 2 cells showing premature degradation.
Car is with OPC, they've not seen this before on the j1.2
Not expecting a quick resolution.
So a quick update, they've diagnosed a HV issue, 2 degraded cells.
They've not seen this on a J1.2 so far and have reported back to Porsche.
Given that ive been having these errors since around 800 miles on the clock, they've been bad since manufacture.
They are unable to release my car back...
Given the opc had my car in to diagnose the issue earlier this year, and there were no active or stored codes, my gut feeling is this booked visit will deliver the same, but who knows.
All I can do is give the OPC the chance to diagnose and repair.
At least they've now seen the warning light...
I do 2 140 mile journeys every 6-7 days, so it has long runs all the time.
Im thinking the 8-9 months sat at the dealership will not have done the 12v any good at all.
I did mention whether it could be a 12v battery issue when I saw them weds morning.
My car had been sat a long time at the dealership before I bought it, so it has crossed my mind.
Thanks for the link, it confirms what I was thinking.
I have briefly gone through this a couple of weeks ago.
The initial occurrence was outside the first 30 days. I picked the car up at new year and it occurred on my first long journey on Feb 18th. I reported the issue to the supplying dealer on that day.
