Yes post update but a brand new Taycan and PMCC picked up at PECATL last Wednesday. I would have hoped the updates in the PMCC were done by the manufacturer but on the PMCC, it says updated.
I set up my PMCC and it charges fine but it doesn’t recognize my Taycan and instead recognized this non-existent VIN. This happen to anyone? Factory reset did nothing and still recognized the wrong car. I get no charging tracking.
This isn’t my VIN in the photo.
I could not find the bushing that everyone describes in their install. I completed it today on a 2021 4S and couldn't find the clip that everyone refers to. Did you see the clip and use it in your install? I wonder if it was removed from the markers for 2021. I looked everywhere. They seem...
It has to do with no releasing cars without a software update. The updates didn’t start until 3/16 so they are playing catch-up. I believe the stop sale is only for the 19.2Kw option and there are 253 cars in that stop sale. That has a much slower fix to that issue. I will be glad to see the car...
The Track system seems to lag at least a day behind. I thought they hadn't taken my car off the boat (SIem Aristotle) in Jacksonville as I saw it saying it was still on the boat headed out to sea. PEC confirmed it was off the boat. Now the same thing has happened where PECATL says they have...
To answer your question from my view, my 4S has been at Jacksonville terminal since 3/8 waiting on the update as they won't ship to dealers/PEC until the software is updated. You are in line to get the update at your port based on what number you are and you get priority over non sold Taycans...
I tested it in two taycans and I went with the Bose. My wife has Bose in her new cayenne and I will say it is much improved over my 911 991.1 Bose system. I saved the money and ticked other toys.
Mine arrived in Jacksonville on 3/8 and I was told it will be delivered (post software update) at PECATL on 3/31. It hasn’t changed from Port Entry since 3/9 so I am hoping it gets on a truck this coming week or Monday 3/29 so I can pick it up on 3/31. Not sure how many sold Taycans are...
The main delay at the port (for US cars) is the software update for all Taycans, Panameras and Cayennes. I was told that all sold cars get first priority to get completed at the port and then shipped to the dealer or PEC. I know of some soon to be owners that are waiting for both the 19.2kW...
Mine left Emden on 2/12 and isn't scheduled to be released from Jacksonville until 3/29 and the boat landed in Jacksonville on 3/8. The port wait is usually as long as the boat trip over. My car was sent to Emden on 1/27 and sat there until it went on the boat on 2/12. Be patient as delays...
But Mission E sure are cool looking. I say we didn't buy these cars for 3 extra miles of range, we bought them because they were electric Porsche sport cars.
