Struggling to understand Taycan regen brakes

Taycan has brake by wire technology .... even if you're pressing the brakes, the computer is able to determine which ones to use and 90% of the time, it will use the motor instead of the hydraulics brakes.

Did you know your Taycan has a compass and altimeter?

My wife likes to see the elevation and compass on her passenger display. My sport chrono was also optioned with a compass which automatically shows elevation.

    Dash cam suggestions (UK)

I installed iRoad X11 for both front and rear. It’s 4K and gets it’s power from the OBD Port underneath the steering wheel. The place that installed it said this will avoid having to go through the fuse box which is a no no with the Taycan. It has no cloud connectivity but I never needed it with...

    Taycan Extended Warranty

I've got the standard 2 year warranty and then Porsche gave me an extended 2 year warranty as well for a total of 4 years. The battery is given an 8 year warranty. Porsche allows you to extend the warranty (on a 2 year basis) up until the 15th year. I wonder if that will cover the battery as well.

    Sedan vs. Cross Turismo

Did the same (auto lift setup and saved) as my housing area has at minimum 15 speed bumps. And I agree that actually even in normal mode without lifting the car, the clearance was more than adequate.

    August 2023 Deliveries

Finally got mine yesterday. Damn it was worth the 17 month wait. The car drives superbly and being one of maybe 10 cross turismo in the road (they prefer the sedan here) it does feel very exclusive.

    August 2023 Deliveries

My SA told me that my CT4 left the German Port (probably Emden) on the 7th of July and should arrive on August 10 (34 days sea voyage). Custom clearance will take 10-14 business days so I should be able to get the car by end of August if all goes well or Mid September. We don’t have TYD info so...

Buyers of New Porsche Taycan Face Wait Times of 6 to 9 Months

My SA did say however that it all depends on the HV Heater issue being resolved in a timely manner so the August estimate is still up in the air but the June production date is fixed
