@TDinDC absolutely switch to the summer wheels, they look much better.
On the overthinking aspect: it's inevitable, and indeed a consequence of the (lack of) infrastructure (same as it would be driving an ICE in the Northern Territories). However, that is compounded by the time aspect, and I...
Beautiful pictures, but you are casting broad generalizations on the Western US. The entire coast is mountainous, and states like Oregon and Washington do exist.
Also, I'm looking forward to the next thread by OP: "The dash clock: essential accessory, or dangerous obstruction?"
Yeah, I bought them precisely because they're supposed to be OEM.
But all was mooted this morning, because my rear factory wheels threw the same notifications. (shrug)
I went with RDE047-PORSCHE-UVC from Tpmsdirect.com (link). They speak Taycan (or my car understood what they’re saying), but ~6 months later the car showed a notification that the battery level of the rear sensors was low. For what it’s worth, I never had an issue with the sensors on my ~10 year...
It would seem so, as the tapered shape of the blade changes the angle of the flow - and towards the same direction. The “rear” blade/spoke of a wheel would move the water out and to the rear, while the diametrically opposite spoke would cut through the water channeling it inwards towards the...
Has anyone seen this, or even enrolled? (Mainly for King County dwellers/PSE customers.) FlexSaver™ - Save Money on Electricity and Get Rewards (autogridflexsaver.com)
Plenty more reading here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/forums/racks-carriers-storage.45/ including comparisons of the different options.
IMO the OEM setup sits just high enough to not have any clearance concerns.
That's impressive.
The point I was trying to make, perhaps too subtly, was that you requested dyno printouts of other's tunes, and justified the request by saying that you obtained one for your car. As you probably noticed, there is significant concern around the impact on warranty of this mod...
Sorry, just trying to clarify: you received a dyno graph of a car with the tune, or of your car after the mod? 'cause I'm sure you can get anything you want if you're willing to pay for it ? .
We're working our way, in order, through: infrastructure, build codes, range, errors, depreciation and, eventually, mods. We're just doing that on the "new" thread so as not to confuse it with the issues of the old Taycan.
This is the way.
“Set up Lab 16 underneath Werk 1. I want our top engineers working on removing the rear seats. Use the manual charge port cover. And get me a big fucking wing. I’ll run this off my private server.”
Please.. only Porsche Design could have come up with such an elegant yet functional form factor for an EVSE. (And by 'functional' I mean the subtle controls, and not, you know, whether it actually does what it's supposed to do.) Porsche clearly wanted to help boost the sales of their corporate...
Just curious, why do you think a) we may not be understanding that, and/or b) that the situation is weird.
It's _literally_ 98% or more the same car, speaking in terms of parts. If they can version correctly which motor/battery/seat upholstery/blah goes into a given body shell, they could, in...
