The mud flap (?) in front of the front wheels on my GTS is pretty beat up. I can see it‘s shredded. It’s slightly lower than the lowest part of the bumper. I believe that is that part that keeps scraping whenever I hear the scraping sound. I use lift whenever possible but it’ll definitely scrape...
I have the seat back protectors on my GTS w/ black interior and I never noticed the straps. No regrets. It added a lot of protection and utilities for my kids in the back.
So Audo E-tron SUV doesn’t follow regulation but the E-tron GT does? Makes perfect sense!
All Porsche probably needed to do is pop up a disclaimer when you choose to restore last used mode automatically and have the owner agree to the terms. Just because there‘s regulation doesn’t mean they...
I think EA could be cheaper at different times/days, I am not sure. On top of that, some EA chargers have been giving free sessions since September, and I guess some Tesla drivers know about that.
It does suck when that happens. I have started using the EA app which shows more accurate information on the charging stations. The PCM and Porsche app have been very flaky recently and the availability info is totally wrong, at least around where I live in SoCal.
The Rivians? I have bad news...
After 4 years of driving Teslas, I ended up adding a McLaren 600LT for the occasional drives. From silent to all the cracks and pops you get. It worked well. I sold it earlier this year and am waiting for the 720S spider delivery hopefully by end of year. I really miss the noise.
Hi, I have my home’s garage set up with Homelink and location saved, which has been working fine so far (menu popups when I get home etc.). I recently set up another Homelink profile at my in-law house with their garage opener, with the location saved. Now whenever I get home, the Homelink menu...
Native navigation sent me to this back road last time to save 5min and after driving for 10min+ the road was closed and I had to return to the starting point wasting another 10min+ while the navi kept telling me to make an u turn back to the closed road, and worse I now got to charge to car to...
Thank you, I was able to finally assign a key to a profile after many lockings and unlockings, going back and forth with the 2 keys etc. But now I think it’s all messed up again. I keep my car unlocked in the garage, so I am not sure if that caused the issue, or if it was because my wife and I...
I‘ve always unplugged and plugged in for a new session without issue. Currently EA chargers are giving free sessions though so it doesn’t matter how long you plug in. They are upgrading the billing system or something. Been going on since last month.
The parking lines disappear when you change away from the fisheye though. Why can't they leave the view as whatever was used previously? Why default to fisheye? Regardless even the "normal" view is pretty crappy.
I have a Carlink TBox v3 and used it on a 1000 miles round trip in August for my kids to watch Disney+. It has a sim card slot which I popped in an extra sim I had around. It streamed just fine throughout the trip most of the time as long as there was reception. I kept the box inside the arm...
Total garbage. Every time I feel like I am about to hit on things when they are 10-ft away from the car but looks like 1-ft on the camera. The front camera, however, is great!
Another issue I started getting is that the app no longer shows how long I've been charging at the EA station. It started happening since few weeks ago.
I’d think quite many GTS owners think the same. If I was to spec another one and the sport design doesn’t come standard like my GTS, I wouldn’t opt for it.
How old are your kids?
Every time my kids get in the car they fight over it. They’d keep changing the temperature and change it back etc.
I have to turn on parental control on the door (disables windows, doors, and climate control for rear passengers) and turn it back off all the time when...
I am still confused as f how this works. I have my own account and I set up my wife as a secondary user with her own account. We each have our own key fob.
It doesn't matter what key I use to enter the car, the last-used account is always being used so I have to manually switch the account...
