Enlarge the pics. Some weird sights. On some of the mules the charging port cutout impinges on the vertical accent just aft of the cover. Yet in other shots the cover is several cm clear of the accent. You can clearly see blue or red painted panels under the black. I believe some of the...
Good point. Enlarge the photos, you can see blue paint or ? Orange paint under the entire side panels and doors. I think there is a lot more disguise than a little cladding fore and aft. In addition the headlights look like stick on photos. This leads me to believe we will be surprised by the...
I agree. Porsche is doing a well choreographed camouflage strip tease by allowing progressive reveals of the production model prior to the reveal @ Paris or Frankfurt. I wonder if the company looks at Rennlist, Jalopnik and Taycan Forum. If so they must be amused reading the posts expressing...
I agree completely. You can clearly see camouflage around the headlights and the taillights and trunk, but this looks pretty much like the final version which IMHO is fine. Personally I doubt the clamshell hood will make it to production but I’ve been wrong before. I’m #27 in Chandler. Eager to...
These look really close to the real thing IMHO. I swear I saw one just like these examples on the 10 in Phoenix yesterday. Too much traffic to take a pic tho.
I received the same email. I’m hopeful but skeptical n light of the similarity between the 992 mules and the production car. I hope I’m wrong. I expect the configurator to go live sometime this fall.
Unless Porsche bolted a new body on the Taycan platform,I’m afraid the mules minus some taped on camouflage is what we’ll get. I hope I’m wrong but doubt it given past mules vs. production vehicles
I hope The final design is not just a smaller Panamera as the test mules suggest. I need to be more impressed to fully execute this purchase. I have some pessimism because of the other posts re: The 992 and those test mules. They were very similar and predictive of the final product.
That was a good article and I intend to keep my place in line for a Taycan in Chandler. Having said that I wonder if the performance will be a little lacking in comparison to the Tesla models. I understand that the Ludicrous mode is not repeatable but I’ve noticed that the Porsche PR machine is...
Don’t believe it at all. What happened to the official Porsche statement about pricing between Cayenne and Panamera? Now this guy says priced as per Panamera?
