I agree completely with the last sentiment. I’m #27 @ Chandler Porsche, last Friday I went across the street to the Audi store to preview the e Tron SUV and came away impressed. I wish Porsche would just get it over with and give us true equipment, pricing info even if they continue the Shell...
The renderings are so different from the mules, it’s disheartening. I’m hanging on with my place in line but will bail if the finished product is a lower wider Panamera
Not only that, the journalists who have driven the e Tron universally hate the cameras. The screens are positioned too low on the door and are subject to wash out in glare. Not great to say the least
I’ve owned every Porsche variant except the Boxster, so I am a Porsche loyalist. I think/ hope The Snape is correct. My point is this ; I don’t believe the latest camouflage photos represent anything that we expected in the final version. I’m well aware of Cayenne and Macan impact on the...
I just wonder, though. The so called teaser video images look so promising ,yet the camouflage mush mash Porsche just released look like a huge mistake on their part. I believe they will see serious customer erosion if they hue too far from the prototype IMO
I agree completely. The teaser video looks like the Mission e. These photos look like a Panamera. I’m in the same position. Porsche is playing games. I’d rather wait to see the car in person.
Not very inspiring in these shots. A bit of Frankenstein with all of the cladding. I’d almost rather just wait for the real deal. That way I could make a rational decision. This version just doesn’t do it.
I like the car, have a deposit down, #27, but I’m not sure. Porsche has changed the price point twice. It was originally to be midway between Cayenne and Panamera. Now they say it will mirror Panamera. My best guess: Midrange is S will start @90 k. “ Turbo” @125 k plus the inevitable add one...
What about the fully painted Miami Blue and Lava Orange body panels clearly seen beneath the black cladding? The mules are probably not representative of the final product at all.
