Yes, I have another thread on the issue. I’m in the same boat.
Porsche says nothing but my dealer claims an update is inbound to deal with the problem.
I agree, the adjustments on the 18 way mean you fit like a glove. I find the leg bolsters need adjusting because otherwise my left leg is constricted by the bolster when it rests on the foot rest.
All the adjustments help you dial in just what you like.
But I’m pretty sure the sport seats...
All the interiors are beautiful.
I got the club leather in black (it’s not vegan...It just is cured through a sustainable process). I considered the brown but I’m going for a high tech theme.
The lighter ones reportedly can stain from jeans and such, but they really are gorgeous.
Although...
That’s very helpful, thanks. What you experienced is close enough to my problem that you give me hope it will resolve with the passage of time.
I don’t have a red SOS light and when I log in as a guest everything works for the most part. I do have poor cell reception at my home, so sometimes...
it’s a feature. Allows you to see much more but making things look odd. I like it because the point of a back up camera is avoiding obstacles, not sight seeing.
i had the surround view on a BMW and this one is comparable. It’s excellent for avoiding curbs and poles in tight spaces. My Tesla...
I picked up my Taycan and, yes, it is wonderful.
However I have a variation on a problem I’ve seen posted here before. I am unable to complete setup on the PCM because at the Porsche ID screen the ‘login’ option is greyed out and unavailable. I can log in as a guest, but not link to my...
Yes, this is very clearly not a non-issue.
Louv’s analysis is correct: odds are excellent Porsche will fix it quickly.
Most of us won’t run into it.
I am absolutely not worried about it.
But it’s an actual real issue for the people it hits.
I once had a BMW that sent me through a mapped subdivision In the desert. Unfortunately the subdivision had never been built. Some roads were dirt and adventurous as I was, I had to eventually turn around due to a dry river bed blocking my way.
Fringe science aside, I too would like to see the back up camera in action. My guess is it’s just a fish eye view that people don’t like coupled with insufficient screen real estate. If Musk owned Porsche the back up camera would take over the whole center instrument panel for a panoramic view.
The idea that an expensive 4s should be a turbo assumes the money is spent on performance options. That assumption is unwarranted. I ordered a high-spec 4s and the only performance option is rear wheel steering.
Like Don says,, I’ll be happy when my passenger navigates, rare as it may be...
I highly doubt the Taycan is using capacitive sensors given the variety of steering wheel materials used. I’m not familiar with the Mercedes Benz, but if it has ‘ a point’ that measures pressure that sounds like a poor system. If all the points measure pressure, that’s excellent.
But as was...
