  1. Step by Step - how to add your Electify America "virtual RFID" card to your AppleWallet…

How is this free? I thought we needed to use Charge America app for that?
  2. Voice command to find closest charging station?

Is there a good voice command to find the nearest EA or other high kw charger?
  3. Odd noice from AC or battery?

Glad they knew what it was and that it can be fixed! (Better of it didn’t happen of course)
  4. Taycan roadtrip for newbie EV owner was a bust

Hard way to learn, but you got some valuable lessons. Always charge your vehicle over night. low power chargers are worthless ‘in the morning.’ Use EA chargers if you can. They tend to have multiple chargers so one will work most times. Plan ahead. In Oregon, the EA Chargers are on the 5...
  5. Odd noice from AC or battery?

Electric cars make odd noises even when ‘off.’ You can have it checked. Odds are good they’ll say not to worry about it.
  6. Passenger Display

I have it and would get it again. A key the color of your car costs $600 and the screen is only $1000. Worth it to not feel like your car is missing something and a fun add for your passenger.
  7. Tritium “Plug & Charge” tech operational at all Ionity charging sites - TheDriven

Interesting. Mine doesn’t show such an option or show and update in the App Store.
  8. Prediction: Next Firmware Release Update for Taycan: Week of November 9, 2020

I’m in the club. Saved my TRS-80 programs to cassettes and walked my punch cards down to the NASA mainframe in the basement for my daily run.
  9. Taycan PCM is an embarrassment

I love the distorted view because I can see so much that I can avoid hitting or being hit by. As was pointed out, you can toggle to a less extreme perspective. However, when I do that I lose the guidelines and I like them.
  10. My First Public Charge @ Electrify America (EA) - Massive Fail!

For instance, there is a charger in Burbank , California that shows 350 on both the EA app and the Charging America app (which has a big green button of the sort I cannot find on the Connect app).
  11. My First Public Charge @ Electrify America (EA) - Massive Fail!

As I posted before, not everyone’s app looks like yours. There is a big green start charging button on mine. iPhone.
  12. My First Public Charge @ Electrify America (EA) - Massive Fail!

I have an iPhone. It doesn’t work as you describe. Currently it only lists 150kw chargers at a location I know has 350. There is no option to select 350 now, just a button to start charging. It may be, as you suggested, a bug that has crept in with an update. But when I said I looked...
  13. My First Public Charge @ Electrify America (EA) - Massive Fail!

I’m also pretty sure Don used 350 chargers many times in his journey (documented on this forum).
  14. My First Public Charge @ Electrify America (EA) - Massive Fail!

I have done that. (I see what you mean though...currently the location I used a 350 at shows 150 in the app)
  15. My First Public Charge @ Electrify America (EA) - Massive Fail!

Let us know what they say. I look forward to the Electrify America network improving and the ‘plug and play’ functionality said to be available in January.
  16. Taycan PCM is an embarrassment

I think the criticisms fall into different categories. Some are design choices, like the cut off icons (so you know at a glance there are more) and the fisheye backup camera (which allows you to see threats in a wider angle). I like those but some hate them. Some are not the same for...
  17. Adaptive cruise control?

My experience has been more positive than Don’s, but also much more limited because I haven’t driven around a continent. I have extensive experience with Tesla autopilot and I feel pretty confident in knowing when InnoDrive will work well and when it won’t. As Don says, it is an aid, not a...
  18. Adaptive cruise control?

Innodrive also hands the job back to you more abruptly than Tesla, so you really had better be paying attention. On the other hand, I find the braking algorithm on InnoDrive much better than the one on Tesla in terms of smoothness. It does a better job of braking a bit early in as a human...
