Slower DC Fast Charging Speeds after WST2 Update

That is too cold. If I set mine to a fast charger it heats up to at least 35C and then continues to about 40C. I would try to have it at least at 40C and redo the charging test.

Slower DC Fast Charging Speeds after WST2 Update

SoC alone is not enough to diagnose the issue. What is the Battery Temp, which is a big variable to get fast charging. Is your Battery Friendly On/Off, if On, then it will limit peak speed. Please check the above and attempt to charge again and note peak speed.

2 zone climate peeps, can you do a test for me?

Then please change the title as you have a 2-zone system if rear is manual vent and wheel. My next thing would be your cabin filter is clogged. I can help you in step by step.

2 zone climate peeps, can you do a test for me?

4-Zone does not have a wheel @targa666, it has a screen to control all climate functions. I will do a test by setting both front and rear to the max and report back.

    Unknown intermittent Chime sound

I have never heard of this type of chime when at speed as you are showing. My best guess would be that this is a proximity chime with one of the sensors not working properly possibly pointing down detecting the front too close to the ground. I do get a chime when I go down my driveway, that is...

    2027 Taycan info?

I am with the @Irish Guy except I will be holding on to the J1.1 as I am not in a position (cost), at least not at this time, to leap into the last standing Taycan to keep the best thing going. I do not have much experience with different cars, but driving my Taycan this week on a day trip out...

Audi bringing adaptive matrix headlights to the US, is Porsche next?

Fair question. This is clearly on the agency that has failed to make this happen due to usual well-known bureaucracy, but we are all getting blinded for years with very bright Xenon lights way back when and now LED headlights with most cars now tall SUVs and Trucks. The idea is that safety...

Audi bringing adaptive matrix headlights to the US, is Porsche next?

100% correct. NHTSA standards are different from EU standards, so if Porsche follows suit, this will not benefit existing owners as this is not simply a software enable but different hardware and all that together has to be certified for a specific model year. Therefore, if you want them in the...

Help me out with smartlift function , Porsche says I don’t have it on 22’turboS

Does your map GPS location work properly, that would be the first thing to check. Second thing I noticed that needs to be active is your Porche ID needs to be logged in and accepted with Car showing in the App. Third, I would check if the car has a Red SOS light meaning that the car is not...

Help me out with smartlift function , Porsche says I don’t have it on 22’turboS

Complete nonsense from dealer and Germany. Smart Lift is standard with Air Suspension mind you on a 2022 Turbo S. You must have the Lift button on the instrument cluster, but that is just a manual Lift. Smart Lift is different which is a GPS signal dependent automatic lift using Saved GPS...

    Oh, deer! Taycan GT3.

That is indeed a safety system that triggers hood hinges as shown in the picture.

    2027 Taycan info?

PCM major OS update (i.e. Macan EV Android) is not happening if J1.3 is a refresh that is basically the same, because you need new PCM hardware that takes a fortune to recertify and the new software to recertify. They cannot even certify Matrix beam for the US with hardware already existing and...

    2027 Taycan info?

There are no news and the fact that the configurator still only has 2026 models reminiscent of the 2024 model year that was very short before 2025 J1.2 was rolled out. This means to me that 2027 will be just a placeholder with a few things you mentioned and then 2028 model will be something...

Opinions please, Lease ending, CPO or extended warranty upon purchase from Porsche?

@nischalr, looks like you are keeping it, so the monkey butt surgery should be scheduled as now it will be yours. I am styling my no monkey butt look since I got it and loving it. Let me get the latest picture so everyone can see what I am talking about. No monkeys please. Euro blank plate made...

The Macan EV is not as bad as I thought

Great feedback. I have a GTS on order. I have driven every variant but the GTS and was not sold on it. 2026 has been refined to the max so hopefully all things I did not like are resolved.

    EVs = passenger motion sickness

Yes, this is a known phenomenon and has been reported by several drivers on this forum if they have passengers in the rear. Sport Sound does help but the most you can do is to be sure you do not have any Regen enabled (On or Auto) and drive in Normal to allow the car to move as naturally as...

    Possible total loss?

No way this can be repaired and but if so, the car value will be close to zero after that as the damage is just so extensive, with no dealer would agree to take it in as a trade in almost guaranteed. The main issue will be what impact this had on the battery and the cooling system, if that is...

BMS SOH (84%) vs. Independent AVILOO Flash (91%)

We got you! I would go and get it before it is gone. We can help you get your OBD and you can measure and rebalance all day long. Also, not sure about where you are but typical factory warranty on the battery is 8 years or 100k miles, so if something goes wrong it is a hassle but you are...
