    Tire Puncture Sealant - Expired?

This is a manual squeeze one. Good luck with that.

    Upgrade from MY2021 to MY2024

2021 and 2024 are the same car (J1.1) but there are some incremental improvements and it is newer overall. I do agree that extending a warranty to 100k miles or 8 years that would cost in a $7k ballpark is a better move then moving to a newer but same car for much more. 2025+ (J1.2) is a much...

Update: the recall completed all brake and hose servicing.

Not a smart move, sorry. You are just creating yourself future problems and not taking advantage of the latest recalls that make the car better. You should not be skipping these services, as they also cover no cost recalls (with one mandatory one includes brake fluid flush), and especially the...

How did you program your 🔹buttons?

Good point and aware, tried that, and did not like it, so wanted to replicate a button press like as on Cayenne/Macan. I do not have any other need for this button as it is far off, but makes sense to lean in when opening and closing garage.

Tesla Charging does not work as promised

This must be because of the price of oil and energy increases or region. We have been steady between $.48 to $.56 for middle of the day rates.

How did you program your 🔹buttons?

J1.1 Wheel: Surround View Cameras Driver Cluster: Home Link (Open Garage) No need for Lift as others said, since there is a dedicated Lift button on the Driver Cluster

    Tire Puncture Sealant - Expired?

This is no good. It is very fluid and soft and that is the expiration date. Why not order directly from the dealer. I haggled with them and they sold them to me for $135 each as I got one for each car. All cars have OEM compressors that are designed to work with this one, but again, it must have...

    Lost key

Unfortunately no. You have to use locator tags on the keys to prevent and even then it may not be 100% reliable. Lost a key once and it was almost $600 USD to replace as they need to ship them from Germany and they do it in batches and then it has to be coded. This is while stressful and...

EV Battery Fire Causes 100 cars to be burned at a scrap yard

St. Louis: Clearly a scrap yard does not know how to handle EVs. 20 trips to get water to put out the fire. Deputy Chief means business, but the uniform could be better to protect from fire:

What is a reasonably priced tire sealant refill cartridge that will fit my MY2022?

The date is on the label attached to the bottle, with mine labeled 02/2027, that means to me that it has about 5 year life span.

What is a reasonably priced tire sealant refill cartridge that will fit my MY2022?

My thread that is linked above is exactly the proof that they work great and saved me big time when in the Cayenne 100 miles away from home. Nail puncture, pumped the sealant, drove back at 60mph, and since it was the weekend, held up 2 days in the garage, no problem, then dealer just washed it...

Fjord Green Taycan with painted wheels

I agree, I would not mess with what you have, but, Yes, you can have your calipers replaced with OEM PCCB yellow. I would not be painting them as it will never match OEM, but yes you can paint them to be Neodyme matching.

2020 Software update for color screen

Just like everyone else said, make sure they applied all recalls and send you a report. The recalls mostly software, but there is a front brake hoses recall that is hardware and software and portable charger cable replace. If in doubt, run your VIN against the recall sites and share what it has...

    $1000+ for a 4 year visual inspection?

Good one, proud of you. I hope you ordered the PureFlow I recommended. Also, lesson to everyone not to wait 2 years or 20k miles and replace it yourself every year or no more than 10k miles, or you are breathing this and OEM filter is so cheap that it will be poisoning you with mold sooner than...

    $1000+ for a 4 year visual inspection?

Please do not, I replied to your new thread, with the reason why.

What is a reasonably priced tire sealant refill cartridge that will fit my MY2022?

I have a thread on this, but in short you just get a tire sealant that comes with a yellow valve, that allows you to pump the sealant "automatically" using OEM tire compressor as it pushes the sealant into the tire using this valve. I used it once and it is the best thing ever that I use even...

Exceptional charging performance, or just the Taycan norm?

Marketing. Please reference my latest post that backs things up with data. The charging is a curve and exactly the physics is in play and faster peak is not faster in time, that is exactly the point. Also, you can do the test yourself at home. Use the same conditions and same charger known to...

Exceptional charging performance, or just the Taycan norm?

I am trying to say that when using Friendly is just as fast as without (zero gain in time to charge from 10% to 80%, rabbit and a hare, only both get to 80% at the same time), I will find evidence. However, you are putting undue stress on the 3 components known to fail and weak: Battery Cells...

Exceptional charging performance, or just the Taycan norm?

The point is that it is not faster and you are taking unnecessary risk. Anyone on J1.1 not using battery friendly chasing these speeds on a regular basis come back and talk to me when your battery or fans fail and note how hot you are cooking that battery 131F+.
